I'm probably going to offend someone here. Let me just appologize up front and say that you can take quiet comfort that I'm going to hell.
I'm not Christian and I don't believe in Christian sin. However, from a Christian perspective.... this question kind of cracks me up. Where in the bible does it say that getting stoned using unnatural (as opposed to natural) substances is a sin? Is wine a sin? Jesus turned water into wine.... maybe only 'holy wine' is not sinful? Is it sinful to use medications that have been changed from their natural states (most of the time, the original chemical components were first utilized in herbs)? Is getting high simply sinful because it is pleasurable (that's the impression I'm often given)?
Who gets to decide? If a priest tells me that it's sinful, I should listen to him because he's a priest.... he has the robe and everything!
