Love yourself:

I find that in modern times, people struggle realizing who they are, what they like, and what they think that they know. But 95% of people could easily tell you who they aren't, what they don't like, and things they don't know. Well let's change this all by taking baby-steps!

Let's start by finding 25 things that you love about yourself. Not like, but LOVE. I figure you don't even have to post it, but that it is such a valuable excersize that everyone should do this! If you struggle finding 25 things, then just post what you can think of and try to examine yourself more positively. If you cannot see 25 reasons why YOU love yourself, think about how many reasons people you know could probably come up with about you? Asking someone you know about good qualities you posses is not cheating in fact it can be enlightening to how your friends perceive you .

Even more fun, ask your girlfriend or boyfriend if they can come up with 25 things that they love about you(please atleast give them a day to come up with ideas). If your loved one cannot think of 25 things it does NOT mean that they don't love you, it could be a large number of things.

Also friends do count, because friends are a part of who you are. We humans are social creatures

The point of this isn't necessarily for your yahooka to read or whatever, but rather, for you to share the experiance of doing this with people that you know and can think of 25 things that you love about them .

Side-note: Being egotistical has NOTHING to do with loving yourself, but it has everything to do with excluding love from something because of your own self affection.

1. I love how I perceive the contemplation and compilation of 25 things I love about myself to be a very demanding partaking.
2. I love how I have decided that I will procrastinate in regard to that.

Great Post

As Levitch would say "Self love is masturbation on a galactic level!"

Reverie I agree. But this kind of realization IMO is much more satisfactory than a 10 second orgasm.

Scion, this is a challenging excercise for some people. A lot of people don't even know who they are, they've never confronted themselves let alone really deduced what they love about themselves. It's so much easier to just destroy yourself with things you hate about yourself. But love is one of the only real powers in the universe. So why not explore yourself in a positive manner, it really isn't that hard. If I made a thread about the 25 things you hated about yourself I guarentee you it would be atleast 10 times easier to come up with that list.

I like to believe time is relative.. And especially in the arena of the mind where one controls their own orgasms, euphoria can last forever.

But is euphoria the goal ? It may be only one part of love. Maybe helping other souls get to that "place" would be necessary for our spiritual development, on our journey to God Consciousness.

Never smoke in front of the kids, it's just not cool. There are some things kids do not need to know.

I've got to agree with Scion. Don't get me wrong, loving yourself is an elementary step to understanding your self and the world.
As Scion said " 25 things is a lot, couldn't you just say 3 ?" 25 seems to border on an orgy of self praise. Keeping it to yourself is humility, which I didn't see on the list.

this is practically keeping it to oneself since none of us actually know each other. i'm not surprised you're agreeing with scion, you both seem to have a thing for posting from a pedestal

Pedestal? Much too esoteric for me. I'm on a YaHooka Drug Forum....hardly the UN.

flappy are you afraid that people on this forum will think you have an ego, because you love yourself. Or are you just afraid to try?

Verk next time your feeling a little off base, read it. It works wonder for me!

IMO: self-love is only harmful when you

quick question(to flappy):
So are you excluding love from me, so that you can maintain your "non-egotistical" status?
