In the local music scene, I met a girl who was into vamparism.
Totally didn't look the part, pale book worm, sweaters with kittens on t-shirts, glasses, tiedback currly hair. She drank my bandmates blood, it was by accident that a third person saw them in the act. It's always the quiet ones. (too busy sucking on peoples' blood)

When I started reading H.P. Lovecraft, I had to know if it was real,
and later on Heavy metal musician friends that dabble, and then finally local scene witches that go to music clubs. Where they feel confortable "talking shop" with other local "Band Weirdos" Just a couple of "key words" and they just start spilling the beans. and just having an open mind and not "blurst" out laughing when they tell you what they believe. This Website has alot of history, Secret History. ![]() Phoenixmasonry, Inc. This should be mandatory high school history class curriculum.

If you had an open mind you wouldn't think of laughing at all. To open is to listen with atleast the base idea that all this is true to this person. What good would laughing do if you were to let one out?

That's why you have to get them one on one when say smoking a joint seperate,
and not in the middle of a group where some kid starts snickering and going "OoOoH" Gotta play it cool and let them open up. Then you can ask them for advice. Like, one time I felt like I got the evil eye put on me. my guitarist told me to go in the ocean naked and think happy cleansing thoughts. If not the ocean then the tub full of salt water would do witht the possitive thinking. I tried it, it's o.k. I guess.

Also, the culture is more open with magic than the northerners.
In America there is a "Scientific Herb" store every 4 blocks. In Mexico there is a "Magick Herb" store every 4 blocks.

Magic was origonally a science, herbs are medicine. Tomato tamato...I think if religion can be proven with science then there is valid reason for more inquiry. Why herbs work is solid in some cases.
Maybe the Salt is really just an aggrogate, which would clean you off?

What is the basis for Salt being grounding? It's understandable if it was just passed down, but I often find there is some phyiscal logic for these ideas being picked in the first place. Like when you have salt in your body, you feel more stable, or something like that.
just asking ![]() Thanks for indulging my comments

Salt is from the mother earth...pulling the negative energies out.. Much like a salt solution is used to draw infection out or to purify and sanitize tools.
It creates a barrier when used in circles where nothing but love and pure intentions can enter/exit. It keeps everything pure and coming from a loving place when casting. Using salt in your bathwater naturally draws the impurities out. Repeated use will build up a natural barrier on the spiritual level to be a bit lighter in spirit. A protection of sorts. The thinking happy thoughts is really important. You draw the energy you think about. If you think about unhappy stressful possibilities, that is what you are shouting to the universe you want. She rarely refuses. |

Salt in the wound makes complete sense.
My wife has put salt in the corners of our house before, I recall. Thanks for the bath tips I think I'll try it before my weekend retreat this weekend. How much should I use in a full tub?

I know plenty of Wiccan and Pagan kids around here (Salem Ma is crawling with em). Only the truly dissaffected, unhappy ones get into the vampire bullshit. That being said, if you have enough faith in something, it ussually has an effect. I'd just be worried about doing tremendous amounts of psychic harm to myself.
Check out the book "The Men Who Stare At Goats". It's a fairly decent summary of US military investigations into the paranormal, including it's dark side. |

Military men who attempt to kill goats by staring at them?
I'm sorry, I need hard proof documentation, in triplicate, notorized video and audio, the goat, the man who killed the goat by starring at it, his superior officer, his subordinate, two of his childhood friends to vouche for his sanity, and President Obama to hand me the evidence in question. Oh, here it is..... from wiki: The First Earth Battalion was the name proposed by Lieutenant Colonel (LTC) Jim Channon, an American Soldier who had seen service in Vietnam, for his idea of a new US military to be organized along New Age lines. Such a battalion was never formed. According to the book The Men Who Stare at Goats (ISBN 0-330-37548-2) by journalist Jon Ronson, Channon spent time in the seventies with many of the people in California credited with starting the human potential movement and subsequently wrote an operations manual for a First Earth Battalion. This manual was a 125-page mixture of drawings, graphs, maps, polemical essays and point-by-point redesigns of every aspect of military life. In LTC Channon's First Earth Batallion, the new battlefield uniform would include pouches for ginseng regulators, divining tools, food stuffs to enhance night vision, and a loud speaker that would automatically emit "indigenous music and words of peace." Rather than using bullets and munitions, Channon envisaged that this new force would attempt to first win the hearts and minds of the enemy by: using positive vibrations, carrying "symbolic animals" of peace—such as baby lambs—into hostile countries, greeting them with "sparkly eyes," and then gently place the lambs on the ground and give the enemy "an automatic hug." If these measures were not enough to pacify the enemy, members would employ the use of unconventional but non-lethal weapons to subdue them. Lethal force was to be a last resort. Intuition would be consulted first and foremost by battalion members.

Ive heard of these practices in satanism of being able to 'push away' or kill people by will/looking at them etc. There is also a lot of info about developing telekinesis, psychological manipulation/ mind control/suggestion abilities. Interestingly these practices include the dark arts and the powers awakened by them, namely the dark communion.
