In Santeria, Elegba or Ellegua is the orisha who rules the crossroads. His colors are black and red.
He's the way opener. A bit of a trickster. Nothing evil.

I was looking for new charcoal resin incense burners/holders and found this web site:

How To Make Bath Salts

Base Ingredients and Proportions:
3 parts Epson salts
2 parts baking soda
1 part table salt
*before adding salt to the base set it aside so you can add colouring and essential oils to it first.
Mix well. You're now ready to create a variety of bath salts. If your planning on making more than one type of bath salt at a time...

A Witch's Cauldron - Bath Salts

I was looking for some new incense too.

Now that you have your charcoal blocks, you may be wondering what herbs to burn for your specific need. Here's a list of some of the herbs and meanings. Just grind, empower and go to it!
Allspice - burn to attract money, luck and provide extra physical energy.
Arabic, gum - purification and protection of the home.
Bay - use a small amount for purification, healing, protection and sharpening psychic powers.
Benzoin - purification, prosperity and increasing mental powers.
Cedar - purification, protection, to speed healing and promote spirituality. Also used for obtaining money.
Cinnamon - to sharpen psychic powers, draw money, confer protection, and strengthen love.
Clove - protection, exorcism, money, love and purification.
Copal - protection, cleansing, purification, promote spirituality, and to purify quartz crystals and other stones before use in magick.
Dragon's Blood - love, protection, exorcism and sexual potency.
Frankincense - protection, exorcism, spirituality, love and consecration.
Juniper - exorcism, protection, healing and love.
Lavendar - love, healing, meditation, sleep, relaxation, promoting a peaceful atmosphere.
Myrrh - healing, protection, exorcism, peace, consecration, meditation.
Pine - money, purification, healing and exorcism.
Rosemary - protection, exorcism, purification, healing, to induce sleep, restore or maintain youth, to bring love and increase intellectual powers.
Sage - ridding negative energy, promote healing, and spirituality.
Sandalwood - protection, healing, exorcism, spirituality
Thyme - health, healing, purification

My friend suggested:
Nile Temple
Dragon's Blood
Royal Amber
Pine
and Forest Blend

So far I've only tried the Temple Blend and Dragon's Blood.

The Temple looks like melting soldering iron,
and the dragon's blood looks cool bubbling like the movie "The Blob".

I burn the chunks on a brass screen on top of the charcoal lump
because some incense liquifies.

Turn out salt is very usefull.

The charcoal block should be placed in a heat proof container with at least
2/3 of an inch of some sort of heat absorbing content in it like sand, or tiny pebbles, or salt.
