yay stars

I'm usually in the city so I never see stars, but I'm working in bumble PA at the moment and I just went out on the porch and was smoking a cig...looked up and almost lost my breath.

GORGEOUS stars...crystal clear. And it got me thinking....

The speed of light is how long it takes for light to "travel" but it's our eyes that does the seeing...so maybe light (and sound for that matter) simply "is", but our limited perception abilities gives them values and "speed."

I dunno. Probably doesn't make sense if I really get into brass tacks with it, but it was a cool thought at the time.

Also put ancient religions into clear focus for me...OF COURSE people worshipped the sun first, then the moon, and then the stars. How could they not?

And how can WE not, for that matter. Beautiful.

light is a form of energy so its defnitely moving.. but i get what you mean (i think)
i always find that looking up at the night sky raises alot of questions in my head

JCP I think what your picturing is the fourth dimension. "Time"

And we as human beings perceive reality though three dimensions. So to us the lights are seperated, but without time, the light is really just everywere in a state of "potentials".

Fun stuff

But yeah I worship the sun and the moon and the stars above. I find sanctuary when I look up at the sky and realize how I am showering with nuclear energy until the end of time. How beatiful it is that we are designed, and can enjoy such a novelty of existing.

Life is the greatest gift, if you start to ever forget that. Look at the stars. This planet in the middle of nowere, gave us each a chance to have a consciousness with no rules, only the limitations of our imaginations.

a new proposal in physics supposes that the second law of thermodynamics -- entropy always increases -- can become reversed in certain situations, and that when this occurs reality shifts to accommodate the change in such a way that the observer perceives and remembers it proceeding logically. to me this is a really convoluted way of saying all happening is a simultaneous concurrence, and that "time" as we experience it is merely a perceptual illusion. i believe we have heretofore untold powers to shape reality that science is now beginning to uncover through "creating" exotic states of matter and energy, and it's the principle i just described that's at work.

here's the link to the article i read about it in: Physicist Proposes Solution to Arrow-of-Time Paradox

it's all about perception man, that's the brass tacks of it

Sure we can alter the course of energy flow verk. but I think that's the part that is perspective.

Where are you 5 seconds from now, I'd say you could be infinitely anywhere in a state of potentials. Meaning you are everywhere in every position at every age. Though when the time comes unveiled, you selectively will only be "somewhere" at least by means of your perception(governed by rules which you have learned), but your energy potential would still remain infinite.

The nature of how this works is kind of beautiful if you follow Einstiens 11 dimensions of reality. Because it states that everything is happening everywhere at all times which in reality leads to one infinite time and one infinite point.

So I personally believe the seperations made by perception(seeing colors/light, speaking, thinking, acting, reacting) are only functions in the fullfilling of infinity(just like why everyone has different DNA), which I believe is the nature of our universe. Though we are blessed because we can pick and chose whichever realm/path we desire, but only as long as it is fullfilling infinity. Because we are picking/choosing that implies that everything is happening and everything is potentially possible at any moment, "now", "before", "after", otherwise there would be nothing to pick from.

I'm not sure if that's really a scientific theory. But that's the only way I've come to grips with our universe.

I got pretty lost reading your article but I'll check it out when I have a physics book glossary of terms sitting near-by, but thanks for sharing.
