Winter Ambling and Appriciation

Crystal twinkling

Being, Silence, not a sound

Impermanent, Bliss.

Winter is an amazing time to me. And for even as long as it is here (at least 7 snowy months) there are fleeting moments of pristine beauty that will pass with a mere 5 degree warming.

Sun on icy land

Frozen solid, incubate.

Walking around town.

We are bundled up a little tighter and smile a little more at each other. These are the months that kindness in people bloom, the rosed cheek flower, firmly pulled upward.

The winter and cold are a special time to me for the silence it provides, and because of the slow change as it fades into the next season and wild flowers soon fan the breeze on my ambling around town.

It's only amazing until you spend a winter here in Winterpeg! Just kidding, visually it's beautiful, but damn does it get cold.

i really love the winter here, it's like we're living in this entirely different place. everything is a little bit more bleak, but for some reason it's just not that bad. Your bed feels more comfortable in the winter. Coffee and coco seem warmer, richer. and toasting one never seemed so satisfying.
