Drugs Enhance the Perception of Beauty

This thought occurred to me just last night. That this was the reason, most specifically, why I smoke herb. Now, for clarity, I don't mean that being high makes everything beautiful. Rather, I mean that what beauty there is to be perceived becomes more radiantly clear, and in ways that I might not notice so much when not high.

I feel that when I walk and am not high, I find myself stopping to stare at things. When I'm stoned I feel like I absorb my surrounds better. When I'm on lsd, shroomin or e, then I just sit down and gaze.....

I think it's my perception that clears and my ability to process it, rather than saying my eyes and ears are more attuned.

there's beauty all around, but our busy minds and lives can all too easily shut off our perception of it. weed definitely helps in that regard. you might even say that smoke clears the smoke

like hot and cold air masses maybe? And the winds blow away a little more dust from your eyes in the long term?

The Rev
Not only does it enhance our ability to percieve beauty, but all things.

In my case, it makes me understand myself better, my shortcomings, and ways that I could improve upon myself. It gives me a certain empathy for people and animals alike. It allows me to imagine situations, and exactly what people in those situations must have felt. It unveils the naked truth, no matter how ugly or harsh it is.

I'm not clear on what exactly this plant does to make these things happen, but it's a crying shame that more people don't know the truth about it.
