“If you've never heard of Alex Jones, then you've been missing out on some of the most dynamic, hard-hitting radio on the planet,” explains ZDNet. “This guy is a national treasure, a light breaking through the electronic Berlin Wall of the US media establishment,” adds BBC investigative journalist Greg Palast.
Documentary Films Alex Jones is a prolific filmmaker, producing on average two films per year since his first documentary, America: Destroyed By Design, was released in 1997. Alex's films primarily document the emergence of the New World Order, world totalitarian government, the steady erosion of the Constitution and national sovereignty in the United States, government corruption, corporate fascism, eugenics, martial law and the police state. America: Destroyed By Design (1997) “Find out how the sovereignty of the United States is being subordinated to the globalist interests, through such examples as the Foundations at the Presidio and the Panama Canal. See United Nations and Chinese Interests are affecting our nation. Witness the United Nation’s indoctrination of America’s children. Interviews with witnesses of the Oklahoma City Bombing.” More information. America: Wake Up (Or Waco) (2000) Documents how the U.S. Government grossly overstepped Constitutional boundaries, as well as the cover up that followed with the Branch Davidians in Waco, Texas. Comprehensive Annual Financial Reports Exposed (2000) There are over 85,000 Federal and regional governmental institutions: school districts, water and power authorities, country and city governments -- and they own over 70 percent of the stock market. The video includes an interview with Joe Banister, former IRS Special Agent, exposing how the IRS is a collection agency for the private, run-for-profit Federal Reserve. More information. Dark Secrets: Inside Bohemian Grove (2000) Jones' "Dark Secrets: Inside the Bohemian Grove" documented the first ever hidden camera incursion into the Grove and the bizarre pagan ritual, the Cremation of Care, practiced by its members, all men, including both Presidents Bush, Bill Clinton, Jimmy Carter, Colin Powell, and Henry Kissinger to name but a few. More information. Police State 2000 (2000) Exposes the growing militarization of American law enforcement and the growing relationship between the military and the police. More information. Police State 2: The Takeover (2000) From children in public schools being trained to turn in their peers and parents to the National Guard and Army patrolling our country's highways, The Takeover reveals the most threatening developments of police state control in our age. More information. 9-11: The Road to Tyranny (2002) Details the birth of a global police state, the history of government sponsored terrorism, the modern implementation of fear-based control, and the future plans of the New World Order. More information. The Masters of Terror (2002) In two hours, Alex Jones reveals the Globalists' master plan for world domination. In this powerful expose, Jones explains why the elite are using manufactured terrorism to drive the populations into accepting tyranny. More information. Police State 3: Total Enslavement (2003) This film documents the nightmare rise of the Homeland Security dictatorship, Patriot Acts 1 and 2, the Total Information Awareness Network, government-run white slavery rings, the new prison surveillance economy and much more. More information. The Matrix of Evil (2003) Matrix of Evil contains footage from speeches and conversations with Alex Jones, Congressman Ron Paul, Colonel Craig Roberts, Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney and Frank Morales. More information. American Dictators: Documenting The Staged 2004 Election (2004) American Dictators is a 90+ minute expose chronicling the degeneration of America's political process. Alex Jones rips away layer after layer of the false left-right paradigm and finally reveals the 2004 election. More information. Martial Law 9/11: Rise of the Police State (2005) From the frontlines of the Police State to the darkest sanctum of the secret society that controls it, Martial Law reveals the master plan of a group hell-bent on capturing America today -- and tomorrow the world. More information. The Order of Death (2005) Exposes the connections between the Bohemian Club and Skull and Bones and other occult secret societies. Jones explores the roots of the Grove and its links to occult networks dating back to ancient Egypt and Babylon. More information. TerrorStorm: A History of Government-Sponsored Terrorism (2006) Throughout history, criminal elements inside governments have carried out terror attacks against their own populations as a pretext to enslave them. TERRORSTORM reveals how, in the last hundred years, Western leaders have repeatedly murdered their own citizens while posing as their saviors. More information. Endgame: Blueprint for Global Enslavement (2007) Jones chronicles the history of the global elite's bloody rise to power and reveals how they have funded dictators and financed the bloodiest wars—creating order out of chaos to pave the way for the first true world empire. More information. The 9/11 Chronicles: Truth Rising (2008) Including interviews with Jesse Ventura, Rosie O'Donnell, George Carlin, Willie Nelson and Martin Sheen, this film is unlike anything you have ever seen. the only question after viewing it is, will you become part of the Truth Rising. More information. Fabled Enemies (2008) Directed by Jason Bermas, this documentary was produced by Alex Jones. 7 years after 911 the supposed mastermind behind the attacks is still at large, and the nation is entrenched in multiple Wars in the Middle East. More information. Forthcoming: Black Sun In production, this documentary will cover the JFK assassination. In addition to producing the above films, Alex had a cameo role in Richard Linklater's Waking Life, a part that received a standing ovation at the Sundance Film Festival. He also appeared as the “street prophet” in Linklater's 2006 film, A Scanner Darkly, based on the novel of the same name by Philip K. Dick.

I love tits as much as the next guy but I thought I had a valid point. Im sorry to see that people think otherwise
. But I agree about how the clock has also changed human patterns. Nobody today (unless they're a hermit or something) can escape time's irresitable pull. The clock governs our every habit. i even smoke on 4:20pm every day, and same for the am if I'm still awake.

I havent noticed a decrease in abitlity to read, however since I just got out of my Poly Sci class, I noticed that ever since I've become accustomed to heavy internet usage, I have been less able to pay attention to long drawn out lectures in class. Perhaps this stems from the way the internet presents information in a compact, concise way. Perhaps I'm so used to getting all of my information handed to me in the simplest, easiest to understand format that when it is presented in a less compact way (such as lectures or multi-page notes) it becomes less easy to assimilate. What do you guys think?

getting bored from lectures? sounds completely normal to me
![]() in ancient rome everything from lectures to court testimony was timed with water devices where a small hole allowed water to drain at a semi-constant rate. instructors would often threaten their pupils with "more water" for slackness

I personally think of things like the internet or television as tools. Any tool can be used progressively or abused detrimentally. "The information age" General information is at its peak amoung the average person, so in some ways it really has been beneficial.
I wouldn't entirely blame the internet or television as a whole or reduced concentration, but they do contribute in a large way because every thing is "just a click away". The ability to alleviate bordem with a low amount of energy is very easy now. Don't know what to do? Turn on the tv or log onto your favorite site, its the easiest route. Now, they can be used in mentally stimulating ways..but they can also be frivolous. To me it's a symptom of the disease. I think the bigger aspect of this problem is moreso the lifestyles in which so many people live. They are lifestyles that completely compliment the repetition of simple/low energy tasks. Everything is so fast paced and expectant of immediate results that so many individuals would rather a quick cure for bordem than invest their energy in a long consuming task that may actually end up being more useful or beneficial to a persons life. 8hrs for work 8hrs for play 8hrs to fit in everything else: Eating, Commuting, Taking car of children/animals, social events, personal hygiene and free time). Even if someone may have a weekend to do whatever they want, I think many feel a lingering sensation of feeling rushed. How could you give something your all when you can't even allow yourself to fully relax? Our modern societies have become so adapted to the 9-5 career living dual income families, that we live little room to truly direct our unique experiences anymore. I think so many people are more concerned in just making it through the day content and happy, that conscious direction isn't a priority. Not that feeling this way can be chastised, there are many stresses in life. People long to feel fulfilled, and the symptoms are everywhere (ie; the prior mention of anxiety levels etc). So what could help for many people is a total shift of pace, involving themselves in new environments and activities that don't necessarily require results at the end of them. Being more intent on how we think and not having such high expectancies for ourselves. I mean really, an overhaul of society would be best, but i think the apocalypse may get there first...

I think people read more now that they use the internet. I know I do anyway.
The internet is an awesome source of information. Often times the information it contains I could have never found anywhere or be bothered too.. before. Take it or leave it in my mind. Its a tool like Reverie said. Its all about frequency and dosage y'all. The end. M |

i have a lot of faith in humanity, which i consider accessory to the faith i have in myself, and to me the information age -- even with the distractions it entails -- has carried the momentum for an overhaul of society passed the point of no return. multitudinous transgressions are exposed to the eyes of the world in a moment, a click. in time, this will be matched in equal measure by an outpouring of ideas, solutions, and good old fashioned compassion for your fellow man and woman. it's happening today, and the world can only shrink
