Animals in dreams

I don't often look too deeply into my dreams, except when random animals seem to be the subject.

I went from dreams of lurking spiders to strong brown snakes wrestling, and just last night I had a dream about humming birds.

I always search the net and get a few different opinions of the 'meanings' of these symbols, and it has always summed up the events in my life accordingly.

Last night I had a meaningful online conversation where it became apparent that I had self-actualized recently and become the person I want to be, or at least landed myself on a preferable path to become such a person. Then I had a dream about hummingbirds.

Good stuff. Just wanted to get that off my chest.

I think there is alot in Freud's work on dreams that deals with animals and their symbolic meanings to the subconscious mind.

I usually dream about animals I know, like my dogs. I had a lucid dream a few years ago where I conjured up my dog that had died. It was nice seeing her again.

Does anyone know what the animals are supposed to mean? I see many foxes, sharks, and crows, rarely at the same time. So if anyone can tell me whats up it would be awesome.

I once had dreams about monkeys throwing their own feces.. my psychic then told me I was a racist. She was Whoopi Goldberg so I think her opinion was sort of biased... but maybe not idk
