The Mind Blowing Nature of Matter

This is the best description of the experiment I've seen. The Two Slit Experiment describes clearly how observation has an effect on the nature of matter itself; the Universe does not exist unless observed.

what i dont get is... theres no distinction between observing indirectly like with this "device" and actually watching it with your body

which leads me to think that the whole thing goes down within the brain or conciousness rather than physically happening in the world, excuse my bad wording

so matter is like this wave of constant potential that consciousness tunes to one reality

^there is that and also the conclusion that your consciousness is not separate from the device, or indeed anything

it's a function of duality, which (for whatever reason) our consciousness is tuned to perceive. inner/outer, close/far, wave/particle, action/reaction, activity/stasis. . . all the infinite potentials are plotted on a field of space/time (more duality) reciprocally in regards to how the information is being processed (filtered) by an "observer" (another idea that duality calls into existence).

it's a tangled web we weave with our observations

I've been thinking alot about that lately. I'm starting to be inclined to think that awareness is a property of matter (like mass, for example), and that the Subject-action-object model that we are used to ("I" am aware of "that") is just an illusion.

Matter is sooo 3-D , it's a tool of the senses. Useful on this plane, but on those planes, well...hehehe.

As inside one infinity, there are infinite infinities because everything must be possible, hence infinity. There is no duality, only conceptual duality. There are no separations only perceived separations.

Maybe this picture will give you a fascinating link to this idea.

As above, so below. <3

Yeah, & it was scientists who figured out glass was the way to go.

The way I've understood Atomic Theory is that electrons are not matter, but wave-particles, which are congruent to the Double Slit Experiment. An electron itself has no mass, and mostly moves in the empty valance regions of the atom. Since it moves at the speed of light in the space of an atom, it can fill 'all positions,' aka superposition.

Now if they fired Protons or Neutrons and came with that effect then it'd be mind blowing matter.

Mass of Electron = 9.10938215(45)×10−31 kg

In his 1924 dissertation Recherches sur la théorie des quanta (Research on Quantum Theory), French physicist Louis de Broglie hypothesized that all matter possesses a De Broglie wave similar to light.[47] That is, under the appropriate conditions, electrons and other matter would show properties of either particles or waves. The corpuscular properties of a particle are demonstrated when it is shown to have a localized position in space along its trajectory at any given moment.[48] Wave-like nature is observed, for example, when a beam of light is passed through parallel slits and creates interference patterns. In 1927, the interference effect was demonstrated with a beam of electrons by English physicist George Paget Thomson with a thin metal film and by American physicists Clinton Davisson and Lester Germer using a crystal of nickel.

^ Touche.

So, with roughly 1/2000th the mass of a proton it's still matter, but definitely has its own unique properties compared to protons and neutrons.

I'd still like some speculation on my last sentence of my last post, however.

It said in my post that electrons AND all matter showed properties of particles and waves. I even highlighted it. There's more on it in the link, too.

I read the whole thing, and 'other matter' is all it stipulates. Then I went to the proton/neutron pages and doesn't have any evidence of wave-particles.

One of the reasons why i never source wikipedia.

[Edit: found it on my own. You have blown my mind rev]

Reminds me about Aspect..

With his team they discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them.

^ quantum entanglement, right?

so either separation is an illusion, or information can travel at infinite speeds. which are both different ways of saying the same thing if you think about it
