What Will YOU Be Remembered For?

When its all said and done, as you lay at Death's doorstep, what do you want to remembered for? There can be one thing, or many, it doesn't really matter.

For me, I hope to leave behind the memories of all the fun times I had, and all the friends who were important to me. I figure if there's one person who feels like my presence and personality enriched their life, well, that's a successful run in my book!

I talked to some friends today from Texas, that's what got me thinking about this thread. What they seem to miss most is the wild crazy shit we did, and all the great conversations we had, smoking bowls till early in the morning and contemplating both the mysterious and the mundane. Ah, great times!

There is a place up in the mountains where I grew up, where a ledge with an amazing overlook views down the valley. Me and my sister found it totally by accident one after noon hiking a deer path going to smoke a j.

So we are sitting there smoking and all of a sudden the sun comes out from behind a cloud and we see a glint of something golden on a spot near the bottom of a tree. It was a plaque that said ,"Charlie like to sit here." and his birth and death date.

That is something I thought would be really cool, and can hope someone finds it the way admiring the same place as I used to when I was around them thar hills.

So I'm still looking for my spot. We've moved around a bit and I got some ideas, but for me one of the most special things about being alive is gradual change of the seasons and watching a forest change over the years.

^Pretty much what I came to post.

Sandwiches. I will be known for the thousands of sandwiches I've given in my lifetime, I would imagine.

That's absolutely beautiful. I literally have tears in my eyes.

Mine would be anywhere between Nelson and Ainsworth Hot springs, BC.

There have been hundreds of forest fires in BC this year and I can't see 4 blocks up in this town for like 3 days, this week but has basically been mostly cloudy because of smoke for the last 2 weeks. The camp fire smell has officially lost it's lust for a while.
