what we see today of the pyramids are just a shell of what they once were, at one time they were shined with limestone that has been worn away and stolen.

While the bulk of the Pyramid's core was constructed of 4,000- to 40,000-pound blocks of soft limestone, the outer layer of the Pyramid was made of a beautifully bright, protective layer of polished stone. These outer "casing stones" are missing today because about 600 years ago they were stolen by Arabs, (This accounts for the very worn appearance of the Pyramid today, since the inner limestone blocks are not immune to attack by the elements-wind, rain, and sandstrom.) This protective covering was made up of 100-inch-thick, 20-ton block of hard, white limestone, similar to marble but superior in hardness and in durability against the elements.

Look up some stuff about ancient Egyptian religions and the old babylonian religions.

Most people ignore the fact that while Moses was doing miracles, so were the Egyptian priests given power by Satan but they called him horus or ba'al and some worshiped mamon.

The theory you speak of about horus was presented on zietgiest, which has been refuted and discredited a number of times by different film makers.

It didnt originate there, they just used stuff from occult authors who claim that Jesus was a rip off of many religions and that lucifer is god.

Id do some research before you go calling them facts.

The Jesus myth has been around for many thousands of years, and appears in our cultural folklore almost every generation.

Look no further than Harry Potter in the 90's and 2000s, Star Wars in the 70s and 80s, The deification of Lennon in the 60's, etc etc etc.

The story is that of the SUN...born of a virgin (as in...rises in Virgo...), dies at the winter solstice, and then rises again 1 degree after 3 days of remaining at its lowest point.

Now look Dan, I respect your right to believe Jesus was who you think he was. But I do NOT respect choosing to be ignorant. This is not some secret satanic plot. This is hard factual truth you can research yourself.

edit: now, the inference that Jesus was not the literal son of god is my belief. But stating the story of Jesus is almost a direct parallel (or at the very lest STRIKINGLY similar) to that of the celestial bodies is not a belief, but a fact.

Horus is but ONE personified iteration of the movements and "story" of the celestial sun...there's plenty to choose from.

besides every religion has massive amounts of common ties with their backstorys and myths. jesus wasnt the first. and wont be the last.

theres a list of 35 different religions/civilizations from around the world that have very similar stories of floods as the bible and being told to preserve life in arks.

While Zeitgeist distorted much of the idea about Jesus vs. celestial origins, its without a doubt that all religion and worship came from natural cycles and pantheism. All deity worship is rooted in reverence and study of the stars and their cycles, period. Hence, the Church just simply conformed the Bible to attempt to destroy the Pagan cultures (and did a pretty good job of it, too). Sorry Dantastic, if you go back far enough, that's really the source of all of this.
