The most important thing you can give someone is the perception that they believe, that you believe, that they can make dreams come true. YOU CAN FUCKING DO IT!

And if that fails.. that you are there for them.. and care.

In working with people at drop in centres the most common thing people say when I ask them "What can I do for you today?", is "Listen".

If it is someone that are very dear to you, someone you love, like your better half, parents, siblings. Your love is the greatest thing that you will ever give. Compassion to others will be good thing. We will not be able to give others what they truly want, like money. But we can give them love and compassion.
