Question THC System Life

Colorado is proposing a new law that allows for DUI charges to be placed if you are tested to have 5 nanograms or more of THC in your system. Anybody got a chemistry lesson for dummies on exactly what that means for the daily cannabis user?

like... does it test for the THC actively in your bloodstream, separately from the amount of THC "stored" in your "system" (like longterm)?

i hope there isn't a test to actually determine you are high, cause if they have to test the old way to see if you have thc stored somewhere in your system, that would be very arguably too irrelevant to the whole DUI thing to be realized as a basis for such a law.

and it would suck if this was implemented

Sorry I am unable to provide more info on the subject. Just heard about it the other night on FOX 31. I agree it would suck - like me - I don't think I'd ever test sober no matter where they set the level for DUI!

Sir, that frankly scares the bejeebus strait out of me. I live in portland and I bet that kind of law could easily pass up here. I dont even drive, I just ride my bike but still if it tests for residue in the fat im pretty sure the cops could wait outside my door for daily dui's lol.
