I don't know... I just felt like this was a good watch. I like how they have so many personal experiences and the look in people's eyes when they talk about it.

I LoL'd because this morning a friend asked me ''Do you remember that night you walked around town in just a sheet?, I was telling some one about it today at work and he couldn't believe it.''

Watching this made me remember a lot of good times I had on acid and the insights I had into myself. It's truly an amazing thing, to me, to have been able to be part of.

In fact, I wish I could feel so free to walk around town like that now !!!
And that is what I admire about the experience itself. How the observer forgets themselves and dips right into what they are sensing, being that very thing.



Anyways, hope you enjoy it if you watch. Otherwise, my intention of the thread was to talk about how Psychedelic experiences have helped us along and see differently.

I have seen this... it's great and it's beautiful!!!!

IDK... for a long time I'd say I haven't seen or heard or acid or anything good when there was 'so called' acid around...

It was always kind to me. I LOVE acid. I've eaten more than 150 hits in my estimation, everyone was awesome... always nice.

But shroomies are easier to get and a little shorter duration. My Wife is good with shrooms as well, so we get to enjoy something like that together.


I think I'd choose good acid first. But they each have something to offer, imo.

It's been long enough I'd like to re-evaluate it at least once more

Shrooms are more kind imo.

Last time I ate acid, was when my lil' sister asked me to trip with her the first time.
She'd had a really bad ecstasy experience with a boyfriend and knew I was a pro at good trips
It couldn't have been a better time. It was really fun to have that bonding experience with her and really get to know each other as older kids. 16 and 20 I give or take a year.
Got her into a little darkness and showed her how to ride it like a wave instead of getting pulled under....

Being scared shitless and enjoying the experience, is an art
And while I liked the quiet mountain trips, and getting out of my sense of self in the body, there were often many midnight hikes with no flashlights and stuff like that.
The full moon was even better for this.... and safer too I'm sure!!!

I remember one fall night we got to a clearing and it was a purple glowing wall surrounding usfrom end to end.
We'd walked up on a query that was full of water, REALLY warm water.
Somehow none of us knew it were there, so what a nice surprise.
We all stripped down and floated around under the full moon.

i swear i must have sat staring into that bonfire for at least one or two eternities.
point: nature and fire are amazing on shrooms.

for me, acid is a concert drug... Shrooms are the get lost in the woods by yourself drug.

Ive never gained anything from acid really, besides an altered perspective on things... but shrooms have changed my life over and over, even at low doses.

I BET his kids would LOVE for him to feel better. To me what he's doing is essentially staying in a abusive relationship with himself right now, and we can ponder how 'good' that is for his kids too

@ Fender: I didn't know you were in NJ! I'll have to keep that in mind if I'm road trippin' up the coast from PA when I'm down that way.

Acid and shrooms have both been an asset to me over my life. I really have my suspicions about the acid these days though. Most stories I hear about it anymore at 'I took 3 hits and barely tripped'... Compared to the fact that I used to split a 5 strip with a friend and trip hard for 12+ hours. I don't know if you feel the prior has been your experience or not, but I'm willing to guess it's so. On the other hand, imo, shrooms have NOT changed in their quality at all.


I'm getting a major trip fiend on now. I decided to hold onto those shroomies until the weather is a little nicer here and I can go find a place to unclog myself surrounded by water and trees
