Is the world on the inside bigger than the world on the outside?

Yes or no.

Think before you answer.

Outside. The internal volume of the planet is more or less fixed. The the surface area of the outside can be considered infinite because of topology and plate tectonics.

YES - Inside

Scale is relative. The further 'in' you examine, the more you will observe and be aware of. Think fractals.

The defining characteristic of fractals is self similarity. You get approximately the same image no matter how far you zoom in.

From the perspective of the planet, the inside is 2.6E11 cubic miles, where the outside is space, and all it's contents. However, I was thinking more along the lines of the worlds, inside and out, of your experience.

There's a fluidity to both that prevent any kind of boundary from forming. So my answer is that they are the same, and boundless.

this is a tough one. bigger seems to imply volume, which is iffy in either sense. the universe is constantly expanding, so no fixed volume. the significance of our minds lie in our thoughts and souls (if you believe in that sort of stuff) and can't be quantified by volume, or really by anything.

i guess i'll go out on a limb and say the inside is bigger. we've been studying the inside long before we had the tools to properly study our universe, and its still sending up riddles and questions left in right, with no clear cut answers (just the way i like it, lifes more fun that way)

we can consider it to be infinite because every little facet of every piece of rock, dirt or whatever counts towards the surface area. Then the fact that Earth is geologically active constantly adds and removes land. If we count the surface of the ocean, the waves add a lot of surface area that constantly changes.

It isn't mathematically correct, but infinite seems like a decent description of something that can't be measured and is much more than the surface area of a blank oblate spheroid.

If you ever come up with an idea that requires an incredibly accurate measurement of the total surface area of the Earth, I'll reconsider. But until that time, infinite is good enough for our needs.

+1

in a physical world, outside is "bigger", and will always be so.

in metaphysical world, both are infinite.

It is much harder to see what you are a part of, than to see what is a part of you

A couple months back i got into this question.

I cannot remember exact numbers at all but i did the math comparing the size of a hydrogen atom to the earth, and then compared the earth to the size of the observable universe.

the earth to universe ratio was much larger.

Obviously this is super simplified, but id say BASED ON WHAT WE CURRENTLY KNOW the scale of the outside macro world/universe is larger than the inner micro.

That being said i also think that neither is larger than the other as i believe the universes are infinite. You can keep dissecting things smaller and smaller and smaller.
We only currently have a mild understanding of a few levels down... i dont think we know of what constitutes quarks even/

Now if by inner world you mean the mind/consciousness than idk.
Do you think we are capable of creating universes in our heads to the scale of the known physical one? Gods?

Regardless whether or not this "known universe" is just an illusion or not, i believe there is something much larger than our minds and universes, It is what our consciousness is apart of. The flowing stream of what.ever.you.want.t o.call.it.

So yeah, i think the outer world is bigger. Final Answer.

I would have to say it is bigger on the inside of my world of experience and there is nothing outside of my world of experience. Once you think, speak, read, watch, do or say something, it becomes an 'experience'. Until then, it doesn't exist.

Or, I'm gay.

I say 'both' are unfathomable in where they 'end'....

So.. inline with the OP.... 'NO' I don't believe so....
