'Coincidences'

Every now and again there is a major 'coincidence' in my life.. and seriously.. it blows my fucking mind.

It only seems to happen with a select few people I have come to know very well... or rather.. have connected with on a seemingly deeper level than most..

This last month my students have been making a video and so on Friday I decided to show them the one I made about four years ago of my friend and I rope swining into a lake. My friend was on holiday here from the US and I hadn't talked too or particularly thought about him much since then. I showed the video to the class at the end of the day and they loved it! Later when I came home and turned on the computer there was a message from my friend... 'Hey, do you remember that rope swing we made.. I miss those days.. it was so much fun!'

Another noticeable moment was another friend whom I worked with for a while here. I hadn't spoken to him for a some time.. at least a year. Then one day I started talking to my girl about what she thought he was doing. No later than 2 minutes after I began the conversation, he called! I told him all about it and he said that he just felt that he hand't spoken in a while and needed to call me.

Now.. it would be crazy to think that either of my friends knew anything about what happened prior.. or would it!?

coincidence doesn't exist. the numbers say that even incredibly unlikely things will occur eventually.

in all the other universes, something else happened.

Everything is planned, that's why there are no coincidences. Just God fucking with us.
