I meant strict like a vegetarian, as in they swear off meat, but that would be a poor metaphor as virtually all of them eat fish.

Vegetarians that eat fish piss me off, I've always considered fish to be a creature, so I've never understood that.

I want kids like 10 years from now.

I know I well be a great father, but the idea of failing can keep me up at night, some times.

Yeah, prior to your post I didn't actually know you had HSV, it just didn't exactly read like an unbiased opinion.

in serbia it is common to fast for religious holidays, which in the western world seems to mean that they eat only water and bread, but in serbia it means that you can eat anything that isn't meat/diary (except fish) and no alcohol. it is considered to be a more or less vegan-style most restrictive diet choice. it is probably that type of thing which is the origin of such diets being called vegetarian.

i was a vegetarian for almost 5 years on and off and what other people ate/said about vegetables/meat never really bothered me. some people can't understand how you survive without fish eating only vegetables, and the entire idea seems stupid.

I heard vegetarian justify fish because they don't have eyebrows, so they can't look like they are in pain.

Eyelashes? Not many animals, let alone ones typically eaten, have eyebrows.

I like Jimmy Carr's vegetarian joke.

Something along the lines of:

"I'm a good host and I like to provide options to vegetarians when they come for dinner: you can make do, or you can fuck off."

Fair enough, I have to give you that. It was more off the cuff than a lot of my posts tend to be. I suppose if I'm going to talk about it I can't assume the words will always sort themselves out.

I can't not respect that. Likewise, I shouldn't really accuse a man who tends to call things as they are of saying something without saying something.

So you know what is awesome? Being a childless aunt. I have so much fun with my niece or my nephew. The niece is a baby, so I can cuddle with her and make her giggle over and over again but when she shits herself, I give her back to my brother and say "Oh here, I think she's got something for you". And my nephew is 5 years old and he's such a cool little guy, thinks he's Batman.

Well, that never goes away.

On the bright side the fear of failing is a powerful motivator.

I didn't mean vegetarians who swear off meat but eat fish, I meant lesbians: they swear off the meat, but they all eat fish. Jeez you guys are dense.

I was under the impression we got the joke, but decided to go off on that tangent anyway. Maybe it's just me.

I see what you did there. The density, it would appear for the present moment, is mine, but I will have my revenge! Mark my words.
