Imagine the planet in a couple hundred years, when idiocracy becomes a reality. Except there will be small enclaves of highly intelligent people here and there, trying to steer clear of the fucktard hordes.

Or will a solution present itself? What can be done to prevent the apparently inevitable endumbening of the human race?

Well given the fact that being intelligent or having a high IQ is not a guarantee for success, survival, happiness, or wealth. I'd say not much will change.

I'd be more concerned with genetic screening producing only perfect people...which could have a serious affect on the process of natural selection.

over the hundreds of centuries in the future resistance to polution and solar energy might be the way to evolve...dumb or not.

You know how sometimes you see really stupid people who have a whole pack of children swarming them? And they have more than they can take care of already but they keep squirting them out and acting all bewildered like "Hurrrr where did that come from??!" Yeah that really grosses me out and puts me off to the whole idea of having kids.
