Stoned meaning of life ponderings <3

Geeno, i read your post then got stoned and it really got me thinking.

Stoned meaning of life ponderings lol.

So, I'm mean chances are pretty good, that when you look back at your life and think of your fondest memories, you'll be thinking of times spent with good people you care/cared about. You may have some great memories of lone experiences, but id also be willing to bet that you'd love to have been able to share them with someone right.
Basically all of our best and favorite memories are only so, because of the people they involved.

Everything else doesnt matter the slightest when compared to these shared experiences and the people you share them with.
From the mega-wealthy who can buy nearly any awesome experience, to the dirt poor third world farmer, id say just about everyone shares this trait. You could do and see everything, achieve all the power wealth and success in the world, but it will all be nothing when compared to the good times spent shared with someone close.

When you get old and are dying, what will you think about. The people you've loved throughout your life and the experiences you shared.

It just seems that life is telling us what it wants us to do. We just want to make friends and lovers and have as many fun bonding experiences as possible with them.

All the times we were happiest usually involve and are dependent on other people, therefor the road to happiness in your life should probably go through the vicinity of getting close to other people.

And you could take it even further and figure that it might all be about bringing two living entities with perceived individuality together. This would also explain our strong desire to connect with other animals and other living and sometimes even not living things.
We, as individual entities, all just want to get close to one another.

When i first smoked DMT, the most prominent message i got from that experience, was that there was some sort of connecting force between everything. I felt as though DMT lets you tap into that, and feel what it feels like to be stripped of your individuality and (re)join the collective 'something'... And not only that, but it felt GOOD. Indescribably perfect and right and meaningful. Pure happiness is the best description i have for it.

Even if that was all just in my head, i think it still holds a powerful message.
If it felt so good to be so "together" with everything and everyone then, to find those good feelings in the physical world i should probably try and connect more with other people animals and things. One of the best ways to do it is for us to form meaningful relationships and share experiences with them.

It falls in line with many schools of thought involving the dissolution of the ego as well, whether it be a goal in life or what comes with death.

But i mean, i bet you could meditate your whole life and become a zen egoless master, but what would that be without or compared to having a great time with people you LOVE.

I think it's that sense of developing a connection.

Perhaps for the zen master, the sense of connection they develop through meditation is comparable to a loving relationship, at least in terms of that final resolution in the time of dying.

I also wanna say you're right, for most of us.

I wish more people realized this and were more sensitive to the fact.

Weird sensitive people like myself develop scars from the folks who treat each other as something that can be taken for granted.

I used to (get high) put my thoughts to images on paper, I could never remember them otherwise. This while I had stacked as many LP's as I could on my stereo, (Autobahn, Leo's 'Armadillo' album among others, still have 'em, plus 3 good turntables). Another problem was when I looked at my pics, they were drawn sooo lightly, sometimes I couldnt decypher them. I'd scan & post some, but then you all would then have proof of my insanity, cant have that. Some of it is pretty wierd. Made some things from some of it.
