looks like most of you guys dont believe in the existence of God.. well fortunately, you are wrong.. you see you will never be able to understand the one and only God because he is beyond our mental abilities to understand him.. instead we should try to understand the creations around us only then will you be able to understand the existence of God..just think for a moment.. when we cant even understand His creations like the brain, universe, stars and the mind how can we ever expect to understand the Creator himself?
you will not be able to know God if you have the arrogant attitude in you because you wont be seeeing God with your eyes but with a soft heart.. I guess we all need to humble ourself a bit in order to understand this.... if you just try to ponder over the cycle of life, season and the plants and animals you will notice that all of them have a pattern of life..

this means that even we humans have to follow a system in order to live in peace and harmony. If you still dont belive in him then wait till the moment when your life is taken away, then you'll realise but then its too late.. dont miss the chance.. this world is only a small life which we are supposed to prepare ourselves for a bigger life.

I think if there were a God (This is just hypothetical since it’s as real as the Easter bunny) by examining what its done with us and the world it would be a creature so utterly repulsive even Newt Gangrene wouldn’t associate with it.

1. I am a Muslim
2. with regards to the holy books that God has sent down to mankind, it is for the purpose of understanding why we are here on this earth and to learn to appreciate things and observe and understand this world. It is not for us to understand him, I mean we can understand his characteristics but not his form (its beyond our imginative capability)

If God were to make himself appear in front of man, then where is the test of faith? You dont need to see God to understand. It is man's natural instinct to look for God since the very beginning of time.

(btw when I say He I'm not implying that God is male, because he does not have any human characteristics, he is the Most Supreme.)

God is Most Loving to his creature (incl. you & me) and He is the one who provides us with sustenance & protects us. It is most unacceptable for human to deny God's very existence (and to curse Him..?) when we depend on Him every second..think about it

I understand where you are coming from with a lot of this, but there is too much left unanswered with religion in general. For instance, if I were to take up Islam tomorrow, Christians and Jews would both think I am going to suffer eternally, or if I converted to Christianity, Muslims and Jews would think it. What makes one holy book more credible than the other? Also, why are we expected to have faith (also a concept I don't understand) in something that we cannot understand? Faith is believing something without any rational cause, or to simplify, "believing that you believe", which makes no sense, because I could have faith that my dick is 20 inches, and honestly believe it, but it will not be when I look at it because it just isn't that big. Maybe I lack a certain spirituality gene or something, but religion just seems like mind games, invented by sick conspirators.
