I was born and raised Christian but have had my issues with it. There are parts of my Christian faith that I love but there are also parts of the Wicca or Pagan faith that I like too...and I want to combine them to fit me. I have a bunch of friends that are Pagan or Wiccan and one of them told me about Christian Wicca or Christopaganism. One of the girls in my dorm who is Wiccan said that I can take whatever aspects from each religion that I like and fit them into one. It's just become really difficult when people ask me what religion I follow...and lately I've just been telling them that I am Christian with a twist of Wicca. What an oxymoron huh? People have told me that you can't mix the two together because "it's just fucked up and shows that you can't make up your fucking mind". I hate labels and would just rather tell people that I've developed my own spiritual beliefs but sometimes it's just easier to put a label to something. So, does anyone here practice or know anything about Christian Wicca or Christopaganism?

my only advice is to when people ask yuo whatreligion you are, dont say what you think is the best answer, just say you dont know. i take spirituality as something more than a sunday afternoon but more of a way of life. and i dont like to lie when i dont have to. people will be more inclined to talk to yu and give you more ideas to which is sweet cuz like what century are we in. its an age where anything is freegame, even spirituality. You find out some people are really cool and i think its only hurts us if we dont talk about whats on our minds, at least my mind, and its kinda working out.
I dont think ill ever have a religion until i know for surethat im right. If it takes forever, fine. But why be obsessed with religion if it doesnt always make sense, like so mny leupolds and arguements for why it may not be true. Plus i believe that spirituality is a more personal thing than social things. Religion is cool in a sense thatit brings perople together, but not in the sense that you have to live your life by it. Now its just become conforming, even though at the end of the day, you will still have you own beliefs regardless of what show thatyou believe in. Everybody's different and religion with its spiritualistic side, tries to group the way people are supposed to think and believe into one category. While if everyone is different, as my logic implies and my theory states, then i see religion as a terrorist attack waiting to happen. I'm still glad for everyone who doesnt like blowing things up and are calm enough to keep their anger about these things to themselves. I never really questioned God. But i dont see why we have to argue if he exists or not if its inconceivable to begin with. The ending will be the same. Which is more just saying that the english language or any language is instigater in making believe believe one way because its not correct if worded improperly. So can only true linguists who have realized and have been fascinated by the wonders of how with perfect english one can practically break down the walls of ignorance and allow people to truely understand one another? So only the truely gifted can preach about how God may or may not exist because one cant word it properly? See these are questions, conceivable, thatyou should be asking yourself instead of thinking about God, inconceivable. And this is really the first real "rant" of my adualt life so constructive critism is encouraged. PEACE. P.S. Couldnt this have been edited in to the letter before i hit the submit button? Everyone, lets take a moment of silence for the passing of proofreading and editing. They will be missed.

ok im wiccan and in the faith it allows you to incorporate other gods and dieties so in theory you could worship the chritstian god and also worship the pagan gods like lugh and others but still have your own mixture of beleifs that you want it doesnt condemn you to worship one god but many and to incorporate you own rights and festivvals and its easy to celebrate these festivals without alarming the local hardcore cristians because all christian holidays were originally from pagan heritage for example the celebratiuon of yule is known as the birth of a god yet jesus was born durring yule and easter in paganism represents a festival of the rebirth of a dead god and what happend to jesus on easter who he rose from the grave. I also was brought up christian but have always felt conections to the earth and other things and i get into deep thological conversations with my old pastor and his wife who also believe in wicca and christianity . Now what does that say when a pastor incorporates paganism into his life too. But im ranting again so ill let you decide what path is right for you its up to yourself to decide whaat you believe in and what you feel is right. Just dont be judgemental i verry dislike the kind of people who dont have an open mind about other religions. Like the christians who say youl burn in hell if you dont repent. In my experience the people who go to church to much and are a little too religouse are actually bad people who are afraid of going to hell for the wrong theve done in thier life. But dont get me wrong there are also people that i know who are wicca that wont put a second thought to christianity it works both ways jsut decide the path you want to chose in your life to self enlightenment i also study a little buddism to help me find my self and inner peace and you gotta love meditation which is part of wicca also it is verry realaxing.. But ive ben wiccan since i was 15 and mad e my own decisoin to my life and im only 17 right now but ive learned more from the practices of ancient healing and the life forces than i would have if i was christian. I never really felt in my heart that christianity was right for me scince i was like 12 and when i traced my heritage back to welsh pagan i think thats what helped me decide about what i wanted to worship . Ok im actually gone now peace and remember dont let others change what you feel its who you are
