looks like you got, er, butchered by the cannabis faithful!! now, i'm not a christian; i'm hindu. but as to your faith, take a quick look at an unabridged bible and go to the first page. cannabis is introduced by your God.

i sincerely doubt that christ (and i believe in him, like any other coming of God, i'm agnostic) would ever have condoned the crimes committed against pot smokers.

thing is, your respondents probably are so pissed off at the state of Christianity today, how it reinforces conservative, prohibitionist thinking and at times racism, that you were open for the verbal shooting that took place. the Christ they see isn't the one you see, it's the earthly politicization of Christ. I myself don't want to be a Christian, Christians have committed many crimes against humanity. But I personally think Christ himself was fine, and had an important, universal message of love to give the world, and that's ok.

Christ didn't, for example, ever say: "those who do not worship me will burn in hell for eternity." Followers decided that.
