badgoalie, where do you live, because I can seriously take you places that are inhabited by spirits. This is an open offer to anyone who comes to Salem. There are ghost tours but spirits ussually won't show for tourists and things involving money, but I can introduce you...

not exactly. They're people, if they don't like the vibes, they don't show. You seem pretty naive about the whole thing, your blatant denial belays the fact that you're unwilling to accept anything out of the little normality bubble you've created for yourself. I know a spot in the woods where there used to be a village about 300 years ago, and there's 'people' there who would LOVE to prove you wrong.
edit h there's dog spirits there too, only time I've encountered animal spirits, but it's been pretty consistent.

i don't believe all phenomena attributed to ghosts can be explained so easily though. i was looking for my keys one morning when i heard their familiar jangle. somehow they plopped right onto the living room couch. . . after i had already searched that room.

you don't know me, kitch. of course it's possible for ghosts to exist. it's logically impossible to prove that they do not. however, there is literally no more reason for me to believe they exist than there is to believe any one of the thousands of alien abduction stories that are thought up each year. yes i'm sure those ghosts give a shit about me or whether or not i believe they exist.

who knows how they do it, but I've come to this conclusion.
only things that we can perceive with all 5 senses is measurable. If we can only perceive a ghost with a couple of our senses, then how are you going to prove it ever existed? |

Yes, but not in the commercialized sense (I'm looking at you, 'Ghost Hunters' and 'Paranormal State')
I believe in aimless energy that doesn't have a vessel.

I spent 2 years living there with no noticeable experiences. When I moved back in 2 years later and lived there for a year and wasn't all fucked on acid ,when I'd come home or stoned to the bone, is when I really started noticing a lot of things. So I was sober, or more so when I had these experiences. And we don't have that many earthquakes in PA as I'm sure you can sense my sarcasm.

I had this apartment once and out of the corner of my eye I would see a black figure by my refrigerator... It was always when I was deep in thought or I was in a hurry and when I would turn to look it was gone. I always thought it was my eyes playing tricks on me ya know? Then I was sitting in the living room one night with my ex and we were talking about ghosts with a friend of ours and I said "I know ya'll are gonna think I'm crazy but I think there's a ghost in our apartment" my ex's eyes got all wide and he was like "No fuckin way you've seen him too? I see him all the time standing in the doorway right next to the refrigerator"

Nope. I have a hard time with belief in anything.
I once spent the whole night on the ground of an isolated graveyard. I didn't do it for the fear factor or to prove to myself that ghost are real, but because this hot chick I know wanted to be pounded there. |
