Self
Who do you truely believe you are? I personally separate myself into two parts. The first part is my consious mind and the second part is my sub-concious or collective mind. The consious mind being me as an individual, whether this is merely an illusion or not, and the collective being me as god/whole/one where ideas/thoughts/images are available for my concious mind to be consious of. So i as my consious mind control reality through the ideas i 'follow up', so to speak.
Ive heard and read about other more complex versions of self which include things like ego and superego, but i instinctively feel that nature/design, which is often percieved as complex is at the core amazingly simple! soo think about it whooo are you?????? spark spark ...![]()

I believe my 'self' is split into two as well, but it's not Ego/Self. The Ego I do not consider part of my 'self' since it's transient and merely a tool put here to prevent cosmic information from overloading and differing me off my path.
I believe I have my individuality, which is a composition of every thought, feeling, emotion, like, dislike, experience and most importantly, choice to date (this includes past lives, if there are any but I believe there are). This determines the root of my being. This comes in out various mundane but important things such as how I treat people, my view of the world, how easy I can understand abstract concepts, my favorite colors, landscapes, music, etc.. Each new moment and experience and choice adds to this individuality since these experiences and choices are MINE and MINE ALONE. While they can be shared with a collective whole, they cannot ever be made again, nor can they ever be repeated and experienced in the same manner. Every moment leaves an impression on me and the existance I reside in. The are the essence of my free will and 'self.' The other part of my 'self' is the part that is veiled which consists of a massive amount of cosmic information that is the rest of my 'self' that I've yet to discover (again). It's my connection to the source. As I stated before the first layer of my 'self' (choices) in this life is the foam on the sea, while the higher self (oversoul) is the sea itself. This contains all my historic records of choices and experiences as well as the cosmic consciousness that holds the secrets to the Life itself. I talk to this Higher Self daily but the best conversations is when my physical body is at rest. The higher self is like a cryptic puzzle. At first it seems incredibly complex and amazing but that is only because we get brief flashes of it's composition. When viewed in whole, it's so simple you feel stupid you never understood it before. But we're not required to understand it fully, at least not yet. The Ego I think merely facilitates my choices, at least in showing me what choices I should or should not make. I do not think the Ego is part of the 'self' any longer because the 'self' is Eternal while the Ego is merely a thin veil/block put here for the physical life so that we can find our way back on our own. We spend our entire lives 'searching for ourselves' and I think the Ego purposely drags this process out. After all, if we all 'found ourselves' tomorrow, where would be the room for improvement and learning?

Exactly. The brain is like a TV, taking in wave functions of information and translating them into a visual picture (reality). All we need to do is 'tweak' the settings of the equipment (meditation, dreaming, tripping) to obtain a clearer (or sometimes fuzzier) picture. And if you turn off or even destroy the TV, the 'show' is never destroyed.

I am in...waiting for the ceremony to begin, I can't remember where it was. Had this dream stopped? The snake was pale gold, glazed and shrunken.
We were afraid to touch it. The sheets were hot dead prisons.

I didn't get the last post at all ha. But I believe like you that there are 2 parts to the self. I don't know many details cause I haven't found my faith or calling really yet. But at the very least it's a yin yang conscious subconscious thing. I dunno.
