A Belief In Everything (Nothing)

Just curious how many other Yahookan's feel this way about life in general.

I tend to live by a quote from a band...

"Be a believer, believe in everything, you'll be right, half the time..." - Jets To Brazil

This seems atrocious to most people at first. But it's not a matter of gullibility or lack of skepticism...it's a matter of accepting that I truly know NOTHING. For all I know, every Religion has an equal chance to be correct. Every theory made has a chance to be correct. We live and breathe in innocence/ignorance all our lives and I can't bring myself to label or follow any specific belief. Every Scripture and Spiritual Texts were passed down from Man, written by Man, and distorted by Man. Every person is their own Universe and we literally create our own Realities...thus, there is no way that anybody else has OUR answers...every single reality is unique.

For example, my beliefs are a combination of Hebrew, Zen, Buddhism, RA, Christianity, Tao, Science, Paganism and other various Spiritual beliefs. I find them all to be masks and covers on the same idea, Love. This is my only true core belief in Life. Everything comes from it and everything goes back to it. Nothing is Greater because it's Everything.

But I accept and deny everything. I embrace and adore the idea that I'll NEVER know. It used to scare and bother me, there was so many choices and paths avaliable! How could someone just choose one Religion and neglect all the others? How could I know which is the right one? What if it wasn't? How was I supposed to have Faith that I was making the right choice?

Then I realized it doesn't matter. They ALL are correct and ALL are incorrect. I love the idea that I don't know and never will know. I don't want to know anymore. I think the only thing we need to KNOW is Love and to me, it's the only Objective Truth in existance (which is still interpreted completely subjectively). If one knows and lives Love, it does not matter how smart that said person is, what Religion they are, how much education one has had, etc.. To know Love is to know Everything (nothing).

So does anyone else here believe in Everything as well?

So, we still strive for entertainment or lessons.

Even the diciplines you have followed to reach your conclusions have been a learning process or ejoyment...or both.

Get rid of the idea that even being 1% percent wrong is part of reality. We play the game of ignorance to maintain our restricted dimensional bodies so anything that appears to be incorrect could very well be your grounding point
; our desire to continue in this altered manner.

Becoming "one with everything" only broadens your search area.

That's my point. Most people live their lives finding reasons to be right, not wrong. I'm happy knowing that Right and Wrong are two sides of the same coin and is strictly subjective.

Becoming One with everything is the same as becoming One with nothing.

My point was that there is no wrong, evil, bad or even good. There is just the is. No past, no future. We have this moment and it's our perception of this moment that gets us to take action or not. It is always yours to participate or observe in any way you choose.

Settle upon a truth and it's yours, for the moment.

Of course, I made quite a few threads on the idea of "ISness". it blows me away every waking moment of my life. We as Humans use the intellect to apply labels to things but these are fallacies. There is no segregration or seperate labels on One. I agree, Gov. I look forward to your posts, always on target and worth reading.

Loved it. Another movie that didn't give new info, but re-iterated a lot of ideas that just made me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I enjoyed it immensly because it really does display our Ignorance to how things work as a gift, not a curse or something we should strive to overcome.

I personally do not think we are meant to understand Reality, just accept it. And if you accept it for all it is, you Love it. And if you Love it, well, you're going to live a good life.

I thought the whole thing was bullshit (again) and inspiring too. It really helps to read about other people being able to want to end their life, to wish they could. It's an amazing thought (the feelings that I get from it). I wonder what the feeling is like.

Last night was interesting. I attained some level of clarity. relative to what I'd been going through. It was funny because at one point I was reading and rather then hearing words I just started looking at them on the paper. Then I remember (this is a specific memory I have because it seemed majour to me) how when I was little I didn't get reading very well, but finally it just clicked for me at once. One day around that time I was driving down young st. and I looked at the sings, I couldn't just see them, I HAD to read them and this really bothered me. I feel like I am doing a good thing when I become more like that (last night, not the reading thing). I think its removal of the ego, or super-ego. Since then I have felt more like I inhabit my body as a host rather then its just me, which makes me more connected and in control. I have been practicing since last night to keep it up it feels good.

Ego Tripping, I know what you mean about the everything belief. All paths are trying to say something good, and most say the same thing just differently. I like Christianity because it gives me a mission sort of feeling, as well as a label (western, christian etc... I can be like a paladin) even though these are just pride/ego things... I incorporate many different religions into my religion because I think they're all just saying the same thing, and I find that time and again in my own, the same thing others are saying.

Odd, I've felt this, almost overwhelmingly strong lately. Cool that someone else is going through this as well. I was mediatating a few nights ago and I realized that my breathing wasn't just breathing. While the Breath gives life to my body, what gives life to the Breath? I realized that the ability to expand and contract my lungs IS GOD. I realized and truly felt that life force flow through me. Breathing is as subconscious as a Heartbeat, yet I can take control over my Breath and in turn, affect my Heartbeat. Since that night, I've felt 'electrified.' I feel the Energy now, not my body. My Body is a mass of blood, skin and bones, but that's it. Without ME, it's just a mass of blood, skin and bones. It takes this breath, this energy, me, to make it Lars...to make it a Human Being. I am not Body.

This is what they saw and wrote down and testified, and it indicates the shots came from the front, from the Grassy Knoll. CUT TO: The crucial sequence of the Zapruder film. Kennedy is hit and his head jerks back, like any man shot from the front. CUT TO: The TV studio, as before Zapruder insert. The Parkland hospital sketches disappear and are replaced by by two new sketches of the corpse. ACTOR: These are the sketches of what the doctors at Bethesda Hospital saw later that evening. The wound in the neck has been enlarged, you will note, to make it look like an exit wound. A new wound has been added in the back, between the shoulders, which was not there at Parkland Hospital in Dallas. Look. Do you see the changes? In making these alterations, the whole brain disappeared. It has never been found or its absense explained. All this was necessary to make it look as if the shots were fired from the rear, from the School Book Depository. Now the Mafia couldn't do this. The pro-Castro Cubans couldn't do it. The anti-Castro Cubans couldn't do it. No group of rich right-wingers outside the government could do it. The changes were made while the corpse was in the hands of government agents. CUT TO: IGNATZ in hippie set, looking downcast and Bottom Dog. CUT TO: The brain on black background, revolving.
