We are all GODS?

Discuss.. are we the human race, gods? are just a few people godlike? or are other species more godlike? Again this will depend on your definition of GOD so put that in too. Do you think its damaging to not look at ourselves as gods with all the potential we have.. in other words do you think too many people are waiting for their god from the sky to come and fix this mess. Some very mad questions.. but there ya go.

i think i'm god in the fact that i'm pretty sure my universe is going to end somewhere around the time i stop living.

i want to think i'm going to go someplace other than under and into some dirt, but i'm really not in te proper mood for....how should i phrase this....the role of the self, how you all, and the whole world (the one's not typing this) are all just really sensations i'm either taking in, remembering or believing in enough to be true.

i've seen people die. i've see people die in a lot of ways. you can see birth and death many times within whatever years or mnths or days or whatever the time in between change is...for that person, or rather, since you (me, actually) are creating this reality for you.

not a matrix thing.

just a way of not pulling your skin off in fist sized patches.

i turn off my lights, you're all in the dark.

To be God-like......What came first....God or the Universe....who created what? My belief....my opinion

.....No one can become God-like. We can evolve to becomming spiritual beings where we can be one with God & the Universe & be intune with.....through meditation & chanting & rebirthing & any other methods to clear our minds & release our souls of negitive garbage......however we are still human...with free will. To make decisions based on what influences are around us. To be God-like would mean we hold no negitive energy....we are light & energy with no strings attached to this universe.....We could channel any avatar or "God" believed.....& communicate to them & through them. And, share the spiritual wealth with non-God-like humans. While we still can make our own decisions & have the free will to do what we want I don't believe that any human can evolve to a God.

Ghandi....Jesus..... Buddha...Padre Pio....etc.....these men evolved to be God-like. However....they died. They were in the physical body & when called to leave the Earth they went home to be with their God. I believe we choose way before we make it back to this Earthly plain our sacred contract with God & the Universe to be what we are. To learn the lessons of this current lifetime. Not all spirits choose to be God-like, or even come back to Earth. It is a very intense thing to do with unfathomable reasponsabilities to what ever God you pray or meditate with.

John of God from Brazil & Sri shi Babba from India....there are more in this Universe. These souls are well on their way to being God-like...

There is a book title: "Ye are Gods" I believe the author is Louise Hay...but i'm not sure....great book.....That book will give much insight on "how" to become God-like.....& create your body to be a temple of God.

Another question i would ask is what is the difference between God and the Universe?

So why do you see god as something separate?

You San, ask interresting questions. We should talk on an instant messaging prog or something... you know, exchange and compare paradigms.
I'll reflect on the questions later, since I should be moving my ass, getting drugs

Quantum physics suggests that reality is something that we play a part in creating, through our observations of nature. That's pretty God-like.

Also, I think we ARE truly godlike in our comprehension. We can imagine things and understand things that inspire awe, such as beauty, elegance, and grandeur.

The universe is the host for us who are in human form living & breathing here on this vibration.

God is the infinate power, that guides us. The operative word here is "guide" since we all have free will, we will always make our own decisions based on emotion & physical well being. When one becomes God-like they no longer need to ask. They just know. They then vibrate in another dimension, much closer to the infinate wisdom which is God.

I see that God & the universe are one. God gave us the universe to make our Earthly home in. To live life as per our sacred contract. However there are different levels of the Universe. We all eventually get to highest level.....however we are still human. And, via re-incarnation this what creates our own God-like energy. But in my belief & opinion being of human form I will never be a God, as long as I have an earthly body. I may transend & I can learn to be less "human" with thought & body...but as long as I am in this body I will never evolve to perfection of being a God.

What would you consider as experiences as close to god like.. do you see it on a level, or is it clear cut?

No way, we may as well be microbes in this universe. There are more stars in the universe than their are sand particles on Earth. Really puts things in perspective doesn't it.

"The Sun orbits the center of the Milky Way galaxy at a distance of about 25,000 to 28,000 light-years from the galactic centre"
(Taken from wikipedia)

and that's just in our galaxy .

I think of god as being the Universe and everything and anything that it holds.

Nature is god, we are god.. life is god.

It's all a matter of perspective.

Do I think there is a "man" (god), sitting in a chair up in the clouds? No. Do I think there is some form of a "higher being" or "higher conciousness?"

Yes.

k i'll give it a try...

for me god is pretty much synonomous for all that is. in my perspective this goes on infinitely thus our universe is just a tiny part. "god" in its very nature, all encompassing, source of all, is abstract. it's not really a defined thing. in the very nature of defining something, you seperate it from other things. therefore, this isn't "god" but a definition of god. tho both are in essence of course one in the same. if one would wish to assign characteristics to god i think u could (roughly) by describing all encompassing. all encompassing = unity, oneness. what brings together unity on a human level consciousness? love. we're collectively (w/ the universe) a group of souls who agreed to participate in certain lessons and experiences. this explodes our universe. all things are in essence god therefore all things will contain godly characteristics. life is organization, life is unity, progressive, creative, etc. thus begins our adventure in our universe, which is consciousness, but to a defined (and thus limited and syemmetrical) which we then are connected to in the very essence of god, interact with, learn and experience.

Meditation brings a euphoria that I feel is God-like. It is a feeling of light & energy surrounding me. Channeling the masters .........Rebirthing in the water with no snorkel. Obe.....all experiences which tell me I could evolve to a higher level if I were much more disciplined with my meditations. However to be A God in my opinion would mean that I would no longer be learning lessons. I would know the answers to the infinate questions. Our soul never dies. The soul weighs 1 oz & is measured at the time of death. This 1 oz is what holds the answers. At the time of our demise when we are communicating to angels & the masters & our spirit guides as well as all of the messengers who do our bidding & guide us.....this is when we realize our contract with the infinate power which is God. And, our soul is released to return back to the higher level of the universe to be with God.

Yes I believe it is on a level...but in consciousness.

No it is not clear cut...nothing is.
