A lot of people talk a lot of crazy shit about psychadelics.

Im not surprised there are people like HazeD who think its all bullshit. Thats what happens when people get carried away with their bullshit. Ive seen at least one good friend completely lose his shit thinking he was all on some righteous path after one too many mushroom trips. Its normal to have a backlash crowd.

Look at the Tool thread. People didnt hate on tool even though they tried, they REALLY hated the hardcore fans. Just like this guy, he hates those inhabitants of the shroomery spirituality bored that are complete pompous fucks with their god-trips.

I've got lots of trips under my belt, I lost track after my 20th or so Dead show. Had lots of good times with this chemical. I always prefered it to shrooms, mainly because of a bad (stomach turning experience (post#92).

I couldn't agree more with this. One of the best insights I would say I got out of my experiences in this regard would be.......Life is what you make of it.

And it gave me more of a feeling of being connected with nature....."oneness" if you will.

This is not a drug to be played with, it amplifies everything. If you're in a bad way this is not a tool for escape, and definitely not for the weak minded who are easily freaked out.

It's been a long time for me, and sometimes I really miss it.

Why don't you just chill out for a minute. You're entitled to your opinion as well but theres no need for this negative crap. When you look at it, what you're denying is that a profound change in conciousness can help create a spiritual experience, and that's just silly. Perhaps you need to re-examine your own reality before lashing out at others for theirs.

This was a thread about what Insights you have gleaned from LSD. Not what do you think of LSD. Your opinion is out of place here. If you just like acid because "It fucks you up" Cool, take acid to get fucked up. I've had opportunities to enjoy other aspects of acid, other then the fucked up feeling. I enjoy those as well. Don't hate because I enjoy something you can't see. The Ego loss experience of acid will change you, once you get there.
