^ I really like reading the Gnostic Gospels. They are much more broad and esoteric. More room to seeing the essence and not dogma. The Gospel of Thomas reads almost like the Dhammapada at times. And I really like Philp's, atleast the one attributed to him, alot as it speaks of the Union of Dichotomies. Not A or B, but A AND B. Reading history of how the modern Bible was (de)formed only solidifies these 'lost' documents importance to the people of the time.

Bible's a collections of thoughts and ideas. Nothing special, magical, supernatural, etc, etc, etc. Collection if thoughts and ideas, that's all.
