Schwag is almost as hard to find as mids, so I'm stuck paying outrageous prices for weed right now. I miss buying a nice ounce of mids for $175 in central West Virginia....

Amterdam:
top end strains form reputable coffeeshops go for
11-14 euros a gram

average price for a gram of weed is more like 9 euros

Haarlem:
there's a few good shops with well grown weed for around 7 euros a gram but again if you want the best you have to pay atleast 10 per gram

if you come from paces like British Columbia or California prepare to be horrible disappointed with the quality and pricing of cannabis in the Netherlands

On that menu I would buy 4 grams at $10, one gram each of four different strains. Variety is the spice of life.

It does pay to shop.

Bushdoctor in Amsterdam has Helly Dowg ( their butter super melt, read Jelly Hash ) for 55 euro a gram.

Birdy in Haarlem has Jelly Hash 10 euro for .4 gram. so 30 euro would get you 1.2 gram. They have a deal where if you spend 30 you only pay 25.
1.2 gram of an at least equal if not superior product for 25, just saved 30.
Oh, I can spend that and still have 5 euro for something else.

I was in Amsterdam last year, and you may all be surprised to learn that the cheapest strains you could get were 10-14 euros ($14-$20) a gram, with the majority of strains being about 15-20 euros ($20-$28) a g. And most shops had strains labeled as "Cannabis Cup winners" that would go for, no joke, up to 60 euros ($84) a gram. The cheapest I saw was at a place called Abraxas, and they had 8 euro gs for one strain.

USD in the US that is profoundly cheap...

I know people who pay $70+ for an 1/8 of headies.....

hell... I smoked some seedy schwag last time I was there that was $40 a quarter.

Now USD in Can..... that $120 for meds would still be a deal, imo.

Now mids... that'd be a whole 'nother story, in both countries

$120 for an ounce of mids would be a fair deal US in the US.
And it's be robbery up here in Canada!

I've lived here for 5 years and only ever seen 2 seeds, and the herb is very strong compared to what I found in the States per quality per cost...

The 'mids' here would still be pretty dank in some accounts from the usual availability in the States.

Sorry I should have used quotes, that was @ GreenMammouth and SaJ. It would be unusual for me to buy weed and bizarre if I paid in USD.

By all accounts the general quality of greenery in Kanada is as good as anywhere in the world from what I hear.

I'd hope they got some good stuff down in Cali though.

Don't know if it's cheaper there because it's more pervasive?

When I was in Nova Scotia there were talking shit on BC weed, which is good no doubt... but nothing better than I've had here in Ontario really.....
Never got to try NS herbs though....

I could tell some horror stories about living in Iowa
