reminds me of the hello kitty bongs this lame head shop started selling around here. just a stock Chinese bong that they slapped a sticker on and added 20 bucks to the price.

Got a little fed up with the one hitter hits being too hot so I had a little fun with a mason jar, a little excess poly-ethylene tubing and I made a bubbler haha. Once a month or so I make a little disposable water pipe out of a one-hitter I've got out of something just for a night. It actually holds pressure really well for no o-rings or any type of sealing haha.

i don't want to piss in your corn flakes, i really don't...but wouldn't poly ethylene tubing tend to melt or burn after a while?

Well for just one nights use I don't think it'd melt enough to matter..

And yeah, I had a big sheet of number stickers so I made my bong leet.
Didn't know what else to do with em, and I think it gives some personality.

Yea PE tubing can be melted with a lighter flame over time. But the bowl's only lasted about 4-6 hits and none of the device was hot except for the bowl-head(as expected). I believe the water does a good job keeping the temperature low.

Yea it wasn't anything permanent(already disassembled and cleaned) it got me nice and toasty though

.

I'm sure there will be more DIY devices in the future. Reminds me of being a kid haha.

Thanks! I really like colored glass but there is just something about being able to watch your smoke is very satisfying to me. The problem is that most clear glass pieces (aside from full size bongs) usually equals cheaper quality. I am also very picky with colored glass designs and very few of them appeal to me.

I looked at it closer and the picture doesnt show that the bubble is tinted really pale blue with just a hint of blue and yellow stripes. I'll try to catch a better lit picture tonight with all my other pieces

You really have to look at it max size to appreciate the glass. That is my 10" acrylic bong, my West Virginia blown bubbler, my North Carolina blown glass spoon, my confederate rolling maching/stash box with Joker 1 1/2 papers, my $100 poker chip herb grinder/seed stash box, my Taurus .357 Mag, and my blue lava lamp that has Teddy Roosevelt's head at the top of it canvased over my favorite Led Zeppelin poster, lol.

The best online head shop I can think of is Everyonedoesit.com. Their selection is better than GrassCity.

This thread has oh so fascinated me.. Time to contribute my babes;

White label Lil Sista Roor, sadly she is no longer with us.. Lent out to a friend, came back with a new red label Lil Sista instead. It was a strike to the heart, but atleast she was replaced.

And my old school 2 footer acrylic Graffix bong. Gotta love it. Little change in the design; I have "added" 'grip' tape to the mouth piece!(Dropped it on the mouth piece, reinforced and hits just as great

here's my deer antler pipe that my dad gave me, it was my dad's first piece and it was my first piece that wasn't made out of glass. it hits like a bitch but the bowl is pretty big. i would have a picture of my custom made chillum but that broke at a party a couple weeks back
