whoops, got two new pieces in one day:

I didn't mean to get this (I never really mean to get them) but I was in a local shop getting a dugout and bat for my bf, and saw this one. I guess it just caught my eye and I found myself saying 'fuck it, it's just money' and went and got it. $59.95, a little steep, but it's really thick, had a deeper well than I usually go for, dichroic, not like either of my other pieces, and is pretty nice.

This one was an early xmas gift from my bf (heh, we exchanged dugouts) I guess since I gave him his, he decided to give me mine early.
Both his and mine are from the same shop, and the quartz cigarettes kept getting stuck inside the top part of the spring. I was able to get the spring stuck on the end of the bat enough to gently tug out it out of the dugout, and then took some pliers to bend the top circle of the spring in so that the cig can't get stuck in it. Had to do it to both of ours, but I really don't mind, since now they work perfect.

Gotta love new pieces.

with those clear glass pieces you have to keep the clean. I never buy clear glass for that reason. It has to be a color or color changing bubble and part way up the tube.

That snake looks great man, at the markets here there was a glass lizard and the bottom of it's stomach was the bowl and you inhale from the tail. They also had a shitty turtle one but it wasn't as good I might get the lizard when I leave I'll post pics if I do

Well it was a tragic ending. She was our best friend for 6 years. So I had to get a replacement. The ROOR was 3mm thick glass and just couldnt take the fall. This time I told myself I wanted to thickest glass piece that I could find. I came across this GONG ADS (Amsterdam Design Studios) that comes in at 9mm thick with a 18.8 joint size.

The new one is on the left and the old on the right...
