I've had my silver surfer for about two weeks now, and I must say I'm absolutely in love with it.

here is a video i made to help vape noobs get the most out of their vaping experience.
it deals specifically with whip vapes, but pretty much applies to any proper vapor hit. just a few tips briefly explaining how to take the hit, when to stop taking the hit and then the best way to exhale the hit. |

those things look tight, looks much easier to use on the go than a regular one.
only thing is...that dude must hate his nice hardwood floor if he's holding a butane torch that close to it

Praise Jah do you remember where you got it?? I had one like that, I think it was called the Tulip. Next to the Volcano it was the best to me. I gave it away a few years back and now want another one but cannot find it anywhere. Originally I found it on the home page here. Thanks for any help!!

Just wanted to say that I tried the Volcano today and was blown away. Guy set it at 7 and the material turned brown but it was the best experience with a vaporizer I ever had. I have owned 3 others and none compared to the Volcano. We used dank stuff. Pretty cool seeing the ballons fill up. Not for a get high fast or on the run buzz but for a relaxing fun night at home this is by far the safest way to go. The price, YIKES!!:

Looks to me like the Extreme by Arizer is the best bang for the buck. Less than half the $$ of the Volcano, lifetime warranty, whip or balloon, 3 speed fan, digital temp set, and a remote (can't imagine how useful the remote might be, but I've read some forum reviews saying they like it). I've seen it new on Ebay for around $200. Gotta be careful with the glass, and no valve on the balloon mouthpiece, but the price can't be beat. I'll have to wait 'til tax refund time to get one, but I'll be happy to review it here.

INDIGOCHILD - I'm waiting for your review on the Extreme. I owned a Volcano for a bit, and liked it, but got in a $$ bind and had to sell it. I like smoking, too, but the vape thing makes lots more sense, especially since my primary interest is indica for its medical value. Two failed spine surgeries led me down the horrid path through tons of pharmaceuticals with nothing but intolerable side-effects and an eventual addiction to methadone. Cannabis is my only medication now, and it's been a God-send. I'm purchasing an Extreme next month, and would really like to read a review from an owner. Thanks.

I would definitely vouch for it. Good solid construction, custom glass if you want it and it works like a charm every time. All of my friends are impressed with it and and 2 have since bought their own. It gets knocked around a bit is none the worse for wear. I really like it because it still feels like going through the motions of smoking something. I look at it like this....the volcano is a medical device, clean stainless steel, extremely simple to use. The SSV is more for you average stoner, while still being efficient and functional it still has a some artistic flair to it.
