tobacco in joints

i used a joint with 50:50 tobacco and weed this morning, and it worked great. it burned slow and steady, does anyone else do this?

yeah, i also use just tabacco in the roach end, that way theres no wastage as well, toss it out, no more stankass roach hangin around

If you need tobacco in your joints to make them burn slow and steady, you just need more practice rolling.

Last night I rolled a tiny cone less than 1/4" wide at the wide end and about two inches long that burned for 7 minutes 54 seconds. I timed myself, because lately my joints have been burning better and longer. Practice is the key.

^ Nonetheless you're wasting weed because a joint with half the amount of weed you usually put in and the rest tobacco, will definitely have the same if not better effect.
So you save half of your stuff.

I don't do it on a regular basis, but I do like to mix every once in awhile. I think I'll start doing it more. The problem is that I usually forget and end up just sucking down a sig after I finish.

If I do this I'll usually take just a tiny pinch of tobacco....like .2 .3 grams, and add that to a gram or so.

I find lately, the more fine you chop your weed, the better it burns, and the easier it is to roll.

If you want a good joint......then you have to chop weed with scissors or grind it really fine.

I usually throw my weed in a film canister and take some sharp scissors, and chop it for a couple minutes.

I then dump it out, and remove even the tiniest bits of stem. Stem doesn't get you high, and tastes like ass so you don't need it in there. Thoroughly inspect it then you're good to go.

You don't need tobacco if you get the weed chopped up enough.

Only reasoning behind tobacco is to help burn more evenly, and taste.

get the weed chopped fine enough and it will smoke just as even as a j with tobacco in it.

All the time. The only time I don't smoke my weed mixed with tobacco is when I'm smoking with others. Usually about 50:50 in either a spliff or my bubbler, but sometimes I find myself rolling cigarettes with just a little weed in it, just for a light buzz.

Yeah, it WILL burn a lot better, and stay lit longer with tobacco.

The reason I don't mix them though is I don't want to get addicted to the nicotine. I know it sounds stupid, but I have a younger relative in his early 20's who claims mixing tobacco in with his weed is what caused his cigarette addiction.

Alot of europeans mix tobacco with weed.

A guy I know from Holland sells marijuana that way ,for those who have that preference.

i use chopped/ground weed without tobacco. i don't smoke cigarettes, so i'd have to buy tobacco for the sole purpose of rolling joints... so it's really just not worth it. granted, my joints don't last 8 to 10 minutes, but i generally chief them fast anyway.
