actually many studies find they barely work. some studies actually find that the placebo affect helps more people than zoloft does.

but anyway.... apparently i have heard they work with somepeople.

and no. its not like you are high all the time. its a very subtle change in chemicals in your brain over time.

they don't. i took them throughout high school and it's a bunch of bull. they don't make you happy all the time, they don't get you high. but i never thought i was depressed, i just got them because my parents thought they would help. they only ever saw me at home, and since i hated being home while i was in HS, that's what they saw, so they assumed i was depressed.

moral: don't waste your time with ADs.

1800 mg of bupfrofen aka wellbutrin or something like that was the hardest trip I ever went on. Supposed to only take 300mg, its an SSRI I was prescribed to for awhile. I dont take that shit anymore. I think its on erowid.

When I went to a psych ward they shot me up with a few Wellbutrin, I went into a daze and don't remember that night.

I tried probably 10 different Anti-Depressants, they were all junk.

They water down every significant/memorable emotion you could possibly experience--which includes depression (and happiness, excitement, etc.).

So, you won't feel down all the time, but forget ever getting ecstatic again while under control of Zoloft or some other useless mood-neutralizing popper.
