About a shisha and a riddle...
![]() This beautyful piece of smoking equipment is a Shisha/Hookah, but not on charcoal, like the traditional Arabic waterpipes. This one heats its bowl with electricity, trhough two heating bars in the lid of the device. ![]() The Shisha has a his-story to it... A friend of ours donated this device to us as owners of the Global Hemp Musem in Haarlem, he found it in a building he was about to demolish, as a job, that is. We gave him a nice goodie bag of buds, so his contribution to our museum was rewarded in style. We had no idea what it was, until we opened the lid. It turns out to be a Shisha/Hookah, the water compartment is directly under the bowl. It is meant to smoke apple or other kinds of flavored tobacco, maybe with some THC on top... Anyway, this Hookah ended up in our museum, it is a National product, made in Japan, found in an Embassy building in the Hague, the Netherlands. here's your riddle: This device was found in a deserted embassy building, but who wants to guess the country represented by this embassy? it is not the Netherlands.... ![]() Nice size bowl, huh? |

i was under the impression that shisha refers to the fruit/tobacco mixture that is loaded in the bowl, and that the pipe itself is the hookah or nargile.
but that looks pretty cool, does it burn the bowl?

I'm gonna guess Japan or Egypt, from what you wrote and the blurry writings on the device.
