Smoking tent?

Does anyone know where I can buy a smoking tent or something similar that would help keep the smoke smell inside? I'm thinking something like an oxygen tent, but big enough so that one person can fit inside (while standing). But still small enough to fit in a small room.

I've seen it before, like when guys work with asbestos. It's an airtight tent thing that zippers shut I think, which would be awesome at keeping the smell at bay. I figure setting up a tent in my room is a lot easier than having to deal with dryer sheets and doob tubes and whatever (which all imo don't really work that great).

Anyway I don't know what it's called or where I would get such a thing, or how much it would cost. I don't have a lot of money, so maybe I might try making one. Anybody have any ideas?

I'm not really sure about where to get a tent, nor have I ever used one like that, but I am almost positive the dryer sheet/open window/toweled door method would be way less of a hassle. Even less of a pain in the ass would be just going for a walk, or using a vaporizer. I bet you could hot-box the shit out of an oxygen tent and it would be awesome, but not less of a pain.

I mean even if it is airtight smoke would escape when you're going in and out of there anyways right? You'd have to have an airtight tent to get into the airtight tent for it to fully work, unless you're like a bubble boy in there. Are you going to ventilate this thing? If you're trying to hide smoking in your room how are you going to explain the tent set up in there? No offense but I think you need a new plan, lol

PS if you get this to work I would love to be proven wrong because a tent hotbox would be awesome, but I just don't think for stealth purposes.

That looks like it would be perfect, kind of pricey though. It would be tough to have an airtight smoking tent that didn't suffocate you, you're gonna need some kind of airflow.

That might be closer to what you're looking for, it says it's about 50$ in materials, but I'm sure you could trim it down a bit. But really, look at the picture in that file, it's NOT gonna be stealth unless you could build it in your closet or somewhere out of sight.

That might help you if those first two links don't

my friends sister had a smoking tent, although i dont know how well it worked at keeping the smell at bay. this guy's family lived in a basement apartment and in the sister's room's closet there was a tent with a tube going to to a hole in the wall with a fan to suck out the smoke. apparently she would sleep in there too, cuz i didnt notice a bed a in her room. probably used more as a hotbox than a way of keeping the smell out.

my advice is: fuck a tent, just go outside

Thank you so much, that really helps. $50 is not bad and I already have some of the materials. I did try to google it before but I gave up after looking thru searches of "one man tent," hazmat tent, asbestos tent, oxygen tent, homemade tent, smoking weed tent, hotbox tent and a few more. plus I was stoned so that's probably why I didn't find anything on google.

So I live by myself and I was gonna set up the tent in the back corner of my windowless storage room, put a towel under the door to the storage room, and then go into the tent, use velcro to close the tent (semi airtight i figure is good enuff) and then just bust out my pipe or even my small bong and go to town in there. I'd probably use a doob tube too, just in case. I'd try to smoke the whole joint/bowl before leaving. When I leave the tent, I'll spray febreeze in there along with in the room.

Sorry for being paranoid about it, but the place is notoriously strict and I can't risk losing this apartment. I just needed a 100% sure method-actually I think Parallax is right, I should just fricken go outside and smoke. Yeah it's a little more of a hassle since I have to walk a fricken ways or drive to get to a decently safe smoke spot, but it's worth it. If I'm not smoking in the apartment, I can't get busted for smoking in the apartment.

Hey that's a good idea. So you mean it works for you? I had an air cleaner before and it was totally crappy and didn't filter any of the smell at all, so I assumed all air cleaners were the same. But I just might try getting a higher quality aircleaner, thanks.
