Saw this in the Edmonton Journal:
Dear Dr. Donohue: Please don't give me a sermon.

I have smoked marijuana since I was 18 and continue to do so. I am 22. I have noticed that my breasts are getting bigger. It's got me worried. Could it be due to marijuana?

Marijuana is implicated as a cause of gynecomastia, growth of the male breast. It's not the only cause but, in your case, it's a likely one.

Not only can marijuana enlarge the breasts, it also can lower blood testosterone levels, depress the sperm count and decrease sperm motility.

Is this also true for females?

If it does I haven't noticed anything and i have been smoking since i was 16 and am now 26 . My boobs are still the same size

i don't see how weed could be the 100% make or break factor in this question. How many hidden variables are there that wedon't know about the person in question? Do they eat 4 jars of mayo and dick around the house all day with no physical activity? etc.

based on myself and the smokers i know, i myself call bullshit.

edit: oh and to answer your question, i also doubt that it's true for females too.

Wow, that guy is really reaching into the wayback machine for his answers. The whole "marijauna will make you grow breasts" thing was another scare tactic they trotted out in the 50's to keep teenage boys from hitting the herb.

Funny, I've been to edmonton several times, but I wasn't aware the people there were so fucking clueless (if this guy is any indication)

I know what your talking about, and for everyone else, its not being fat, its actually the growth of breast tissue. mostly males while going through puberty develop it and then it goes away

well it might be that you have been smoking more and doing less activities, which allows fat to accumulate and it makes your boobs bigger...
