M2? what does that mean

I'm looking to grow some weed, but i've never done it, and i was looking up some seeds, and on the "Yield" it says 500g. M2 what does the m2 stand for?

Meters squared, i.e; How much space a plant takes up, as in "you'll get X amount for every Xm2 of plant".
