Where should I go to pick some mushrooms?

what type of fatal reaction are you looking for?

Look on the shroomery first they will have info on what grows in your area
then if you take a picture of the mushroom and the spore print and write a description on when and where you found it they should be able to id it for you

Yeah just dont go around picking and eating mushrooms there's thousands of different species of fungus. Shroomery.org is a far better place to ask this.

you might be able to get spores into rhode island. im not sure what the laws are like in that state.
