I am working on it now. I have been drilling for a couple hours taking it slow.

I am close to done. I should have pics up by tomorrow if not later tonight.

Mikey I got the slide separate. I bought the vodka at a liquor store called Total Beverage and then went to a head shop called Freakys for the bowl,slide and grommet.

I took a picture of it.

Ok A couple shots first and then time to get to work.

These are the glass drill bits I used.

I have used these on other bottle bongs before but I bought brand new ones today so they would be nice and sharp for this project. I only used the larger bit today.

The biggest glass drill bit they had at Home Depot was the 1/2". It is big enough to drill a hole in a bottle for one of the long skinny glass bowl/stem setups but it ended up not being quite enough for this bigger glass on glass long stem/short bowl setup.

So after drilling as large a hole as felt safe with the 1/2" bit I used some of the soft pink grinding bits for a dremel tool in my drill to enlarge the hole some more.

I did not fill the bong with water or do it in the sink. I sat at a table with a towel spread out. I held the bottle in one hand and drilled with the other. I had my trusty drunken assistant manning the spray gun and giving it a shot about every 15 seconds. During the grinding I was dipping the dremel bits in a cup of water to keep wet.

Its hard to tell with my crappy camera but there is a small spot in the middle of the circle to help you get your drill bit started in the right place. It helps.

After about 3 hours of arm killing drilling and grinding the grommet finally fits.

Here it is complete

Huge smooth milky hits.

that's pretty fricken sweet, dude. ive used glass drill bits to make bongs out of glass bottles and shit, but it's a bitch to drill an angle, although that bottle has an angled area to drill, so sweet!

nice job, slow and steady is key in glass drilling.

I tilted it further back and got in in a little more. It seals perfect the way it is. Hits great, clears easy. I can put my finger over the slide and turn it over and no water leaks, not a drip. This thing hits.

Exactly. Its hard to get started right where you want on glass. This one has the perfect spot made right in to start it in the right place.

That is how I ended up finding this. I went to a huge warehouse liquor store and wandered around trying to find a bottle that instead of drilling straight in, would be rounded on the bottom and the stem would be at a more proper angle.
