I just moved to AZ from OH and my buddy is wanting me to send him a "care package" with a large amount of bud. Is this going to fly? I know of other people who said they know people who've done it but not anyone thats done it first hand...obviously the smell would be a first tip off so I plan on packaging it all in mason jars before I put it in the box but if my package is going to go thro an x-ray or some shit like that I don't want it seized. I'm not to worried about either of us being charged with anything because neither of our names are going on it...any one know if this will work or is my buddy gonna lose his investment? And which company would be my best bet UPS, FedEx, or The USPS (although that would be the worst option if i had to guess).

No address is more common, and at worst they could only track it to the nearest shipping center.

The trick is to make it look as 'normal' as possible. If it does happen to run through an x-ray machine, a box full of non-sequitur shit wrapped in duct tape, i'll probably get seized, but that's only if it does get scanned. Shipping domestically isn't as secure as international either, and i've smuggled lots of shit internationally.

honestly, I wouldn't even be worried about shipping weed unless I was the one receiving it, specially if it was any significant amount. Other than that it seams practically impossible to track the original shipper other than the security cameras of the store you shipped it from, and even then I doubt they would go to that much trouble for a smallish amount.

I have mailed buds twice to my friend in California and once to my friend in Alaska. All 3 times made it.

I used the US post office.

I put the buds in a box and wrapped the shit out of it in duct tape then put the box in a bubble padded envelope with a fake return address.

It worked.

USPS is more secure than UPS and fedex, use a flat rate priority box and put it in a few baggies with bubble wrap

Lol definitely use an address of SOME kind. Preferably real just not yours.
I don't really know how that whole game goes, but I know that if you get caught your real fucked. Prolly a good idea to use glovers when preparing the package too cuz of those pesky finger-tips.

Also don't you think you should try a smaller amount before you up and just send him 5 pounds? Sounds like a lot of cake to just be risking man... Esp if it's the Chron.

Yeah and go out of town to send it off if you can.

Don't make use a fake return adress, make sure it's one that actually exists (pick one out from the phone book, and use their name too).

Make sure after you've bagged your weed you wash your hands, wash the bag and rebag it, it's usually the residue on the bag that they smell not what's actually in the bag.

And duct tape the shit out of that helps too.

And if it does go through an x-ray I've heard of people sending it with in boxes of tea so it looks like just tea.

Anyways good luck shouldn't be hard, make sure you use overnight express the quicker the better.

dogs go thru UPS at the flight terminal only a couple times a year. it's the dogs that can smell thru anything. you will always roll the dice. the recipient will be the one getting busted, as you always use a fake return address. however, the sender will usually get ratted on when the pressure of 5 years in jail is thrown in the mix.

I would say go with USPS.

They are generally faster for cheaper than UPS. Plus I kind of like going to my post office.

Get one of those big 3 wick candles. You can get them from your local walmart. Cut a good sized hole it it, and stick it in there. Tape the bottom shut. Make it look like a birthday gift. Maybe put a card, or a shirt or something in it. Make it look legit

#1 - the USPS is a government agency, UPS and FedEx aren't
#2 - send next-day mail - the faster it has to go, the less time they have inspecting
#3 - don't ask for signature confirmation ---- duh.
#4 - last I checked, UPS/FedEx don't deliver to p.o. boxes.
#5 - make sure buddy has a "leave package by door" note AND not to answer when they knock - UPS guy just wants to drop it off and make his rounds (they get bonuses for finishing early )

oh, and 5lbs???? Major offense. Better to send 5 1lb packages, spaced out about a week.

place packages in "drop-box", ie looks like a mailbox, ensure no security cams. Mailboxes Etc, Post Office, Kinko's, etc, WILL have video - if only to catch anthrax terrorist shit
