Is this a quality buy?

Hey I am new to yahooka but I am planning on ordering a bong. I have never smoked out of a roor before but I heard the were top of the line so I thought I would get one. I have been considering buying the roor 100 blue label because of the cheap price tag and I am short of money but I am wondering if it is a quality bong or should I get a different brand. Thanks in advance.

Here is the link Roor Bong 100 - 3 piece

Also I am wondering what accessories should I definitly get (ashcatcher, diffuser, carbon filter, etc) and is the vaporstar vaporizing bowl a good buy?

Here is the link http://www.everyonedoesit.com/online...ProductID=4203

I don't know how much money you have, so I couldn't say.

honestly though, based on the fact that I know eeryonedoesit is a legit site, do it if there's no better local deals. I always like to support my local glass blowers, but do what ever you want.

I have about $150. And I have looked around a little bit but this is the best deal I can find on a roor. I am just wondering if the 100 is a good bong or if I should get a bigger one of a different brand. Do most glassblowers make quality bongs and bowls?

Yeah, you can't go wrong with any of the mainstream bong brands. PHX, Weedstar, RooR, Illideph, JBD etc.. It's all personal preferences man, just go for it, I guarantee you won't regret it. My only suggestion is no matter what route you choose, get a nice ash catcher. Simple or complex, it doesn't matter, they are all easier to clean than a decent sized bong, not to mention they keep the tube clean. I'm sure you already knew that though.

It is my understanding that Roor's are top-notch. I've never owned one and I've smoked out of one of the more expensive ones. The one I smoked out of was ridiculous, the hit's were perfect every time.

if you have a local art glass place, often times you can find roors that they've done up for cheaper than what you'd pay for a basic roor that tons of people have [because they buy the tubes in bulk at a way reduced price and are able to pass some saving on to you while also hooking you with a beautiful, one of a kind piece of functional artwork.

i know the art glass place i go to, they sell customized roor tubes for like 124-129.. and if you were to by the basic roor at the headshop that everyone else has it would be around 200.

ROOR's are the cadillacs of bongs.

looks like an awesome piece, me preferably would want the 250 but a nine inch bong is fine i guess. Not sure about the vapo bowl but it sounds intriguing. My vaporgenie works perfect unfiltered and I'm sure it would be a great addition. The more bowls the better.

Find a good head shop and just look around, they all accomplish the same thing of passing smoke through water so if you are looking to pay more for a name brand go for it, but I would HIGHLY recommend going around to a few head shops and see if anything catches your eye, then try and talk the price down, you'll still end up with a bong but I find hunting around all the head shops close to my house to be a great source of entertainment/strain on my income...

that thing looked FUCKING REDICULOUS!
i would have no hessitation laughing my nut off if i walked into a mates house an that was there.. and then id use it too.

but my opinion is based around a penchant for smaller bongs. I like little hitters cause i smoke green and really like the taste.

as for value. i thyink its like buying any instrument. your flute is supposed to say soemthing about YOU.

To be honest i wouldn't buy that bong. That particular bong is the cheapest of the cheap when it comes to roor. 2mm thick glass, barely around a foot tall. Just saying if you want a good glass on glass bong for around 100 bucks I'd go with Weedstar bongs. Now if you had some more loot i would say go for a higher up model roor.

ive toked roors, its just another tube with a hole in it for smoking. its nice but once you go glass on glass they all pretty much do the same thing, imo.

ya its got this air of royalty in the bong world but theyre made just like all of the other cheaper science project looking glassware. id go with a non name brand, make sure its thick and doesnt have any visible defects or parts where the glass looks uneven or flawed. i wouldnt even bother if you dont have a safe place to keep it otherwise its gonna get broken eventually and youll be sad. (ive lost probably around 4-500 on broken bongs.)

I agree 100%. I don't think a percolated bong would bounce off my hard tile bathroom floor like my 5mm JBD with ice pinchers did. That thing is a tank; in more ways than one. I agree mafoo, glass on glass gets me equally as stoned. Then going to some ones house with a percolated bong is still more fun than smoking out of your own.

I wouldn't order a bong online you should go to your local head shop and get one. If the people are cool you can even try them before you buy, and don't forget you can haggle the price down but only if you got some game. My home boy flirted with the owner at this one store and got the price of my bong down $25.

Thanks for all the help. I am gonna look around more. I think I'm gonna go with a different brand that's bigger for about the same price.

Great buy. I'd recommend an equally nice bag & matching roor diffuser. Take that sucker most any where too, camping, skiing, etc...
