Keeping bong water clean?

Anyone got any tips for keeping the water not so dirty? If I don't smoke for say 3 days or so, the water starts to grow mold i suppose you could call it. I thought about putting some dettol or something in it to kill the bacteria, but I have a feeling I dont wanna inhale that stuff haha. Also its technically not a bong, its a buckeybong, like a bucket which instead of filling the bottle first, it filters through a hose into water to cool it as well. Its very good.

I've found that pre-cooler device in conjuction with glass screen works wonders. some added drag for sure but i don't seem to mind it.

best bet is to swap the dirty water out or keep it covered so no mold spores or less mold spores fall in there.

id think if the water was really salty less stuff would grow in it, but i have no idea.

I just broke my big beautiful glass pipe; it was a functional art piece I affectionately named Frankie (I always name my fave bongs)
I moved it to the corner on the floor so it would be out of harms way....and it fell over and and there went a dear old friend.

Look bong water should be replaced before every session. Think about your bong like it's a person. It needs a shower daily man, otherwise it stinks like death.

When you're done smoking pour out the bong water and rinse out the inside. Before you smoke, fill it back up.

Nasty, old bong water sucks and is such a turn off from a good bong, it really ruins the experience.
