PRoblem with my bong

For some reason i cannot get my bong to hit properly. I bought a new downstem and continue using my slider which is competely unclogged. There is a o ring to ensure an airtight seal. When the slider is in the water will not bubble, however it will when i pull it out, yet i cannot get a solid hit.HELP PLEASE

pictures? I really can't think of any reason on why it wouldn't work. Are you sure the down stem is the right size? That just sounds really bizarre.

yeah that doesnt make much sense if its unclogged. if your still able to pull air through it's gotta go through the water first, so i can't see why it wouldn't bubble with the downstem if it does it without

something in the bowl is wrong, is the hole really tiny?

or is there like a little hole in the stem of the bowl? or something wrong with the o-ring that seals the bowl to the downstem?

its gotta be a problem with the bowl

Sounds like a seal on the slider. Have you tried *pushing* it in to make a tighter fit while you draw air?
