Acrylic bong gone bad?

Hey guys i dont normally use acrylics but my piece broke and its the only one i have atm. anyway its got a lot of resin and shit all over the inside bubble and i cleaned it out today and now it fucking reaks. i didnt get all the resin and im wondering if the plastics can just absorb that ass smell and get ruined forever?
thermos's and shit always do that to me. i couldnt get all the resin out of the middle so i think i either uncovered some old nasty smelling resin or just uncovered the plastic that absorbed the smell

any tips are appreciated, i did the salt alchohol method and even tried rising it with some mouthwash, every hit just fills my lungs with the nastiest moldyish smell ever

theres only one smoke shop here and everything is over 50 dollars except tiny pipes and those are still like 35. have to drive 60 miles south to bigger city so i wanted to try and fix this one.

plastic does absorb da materials over time, specially if you used harsh chemicals to clean it out.

its prolly not ruined, just nasty

(buy something from the internet if local shop is a ripoff?)

You put alcohol into an acrylic bong?

You better find some papers, that thing is on its last legs. Alcohol will make the acrylic so brittle that a change in temp will cause it to break.
