80 percent of the time its a crapshoot with dealers, things such as this ^^ happen. and identifying between the two is fairly hard, its hard to know for certain. but what i've learned is that generally the darker nugs are more of a body stone, like a fine whisky, compared to a brighter, thin leafed nug which is more of a mind cripple. and all of this depends on the cannabinoid/thc ratio. strains that are high in thc and low in cbd's are generally sativa's and vice verca for indica's. so the cbd's are believed to be responsible for the lethargic, comfortable feeling and thc is what causes the gigglies, and the funny thoughts haha

not that there arent dealers out there with specific strains, but they are a relative rarity

Unless its a mixture of the two of course but even then you can sort of tell that its a mixture Sativa plants are very crunched up and tight, naturally. after curing they dont have to be vacuumed and they will still be as hard as a rock when you go to squeeze the buds. there arent many leaves and the leaves are smaller. they tend to have more hairs than indica plants and be more 'colorful.' Indica plants are the opposite, very leafy and very un-condensced. Most dealers sell indica plants just because it looks like the buyer is getting more. An gram of indica can look like an eight of sativa, its that much of a difference. i find that if a plant is at least 60-65% indica or sativa and decently grown its pretty easy to tell the difference.

Yeah, right on. On The Howard Stern Show a couple of weeks ago he said there was some "new" super strain going around Cali named after the comedian Shuli called Shuli Kush. Per the show, it is going for 450 an z and supposedly is super potent. It's probably AK-47 renamed or something as opposed to some new super strain though.
