Trainers on Phone line's

I have been told by a friend that when you see Trainers with the laces tied together and thrown over a phone line this means there has been a murder or there is a drug dealer in that area.
Now I saw this a few streets away from me and I happen to live in a extremely respectable area where there are not lot's of Dealers but I don't think there has been a murder either, has anyone else heard of this because currently I have a bit of a commute to get any good product.

Around this part of the nation shoes over a line are a sighn that you are in a gangs hood be very careful when you see this anywhere

Really Well there are not any problems with gangs in my area. That's quite surprising.

When I lived in Houston, if there was sneakers on a telephone wire then there was drugs there, but you gotta remember that alot of the drug market is controlled by gangs unless its homegrown. So, if your looking for some product, be careful about those trainers.

what xil said...in my area its because someone was being a bully...

but i've heard both the murder and drug theories and i also heard that it marks a gangs territory...color of shoes correlates to color of bandana/clothing said gang "reps"

There's been a pair of shoes hanging along the main street in my town for a while now; I never knew the reason that people would throw them up there but thinking back there was a shooting across the street from where it is about five years ago. A 20 year old ran inside his parents glass store and shot both his parents.

Thats sad. Some kid just up and decides to gun down his parents? I mean, me and my parents don't get along all that well, but I never have been tempted to just off the both of them. Jeez man... thats bull. If the kid was tokin reefer he may have been more chill and not done that horrible thing.

The story I heard was he had been strung out for 3 days prior, and they had all gotten in a fight about his girlfriend/church/other shenanigans
