How about in Amsterdam?
What if it were legal in the US?

I think it would start out at about $10/ounce for premium. The taxes would bring this up over time. It wouldn't be subject to lawsuits like tobacco cuz ppl don't die.

But alcohol is taxed a lot because it's a little troublemaker; Pot could not live up to that reputation (DWI, violence/spousal abuse/etc.)

$10 an ounce?!?!?! Holy crap. I was thinking $5 for 2 grams. My logic was that it should take someone the same amount of time to smoke a "pack" of weed as it does a pack of cigarettes. About 1-5 days. And it should cost roughly the same.
