Grinded weed or nugs out of a bong?

I am struggling between these two right now. Nugs tend to burn longer, but the grinded weed hits harded and faster. What do you prefer?

You don't need to grind it per se, but you should definitely break it up some with your fingers. Putting whole nugs in a bowl to smoke is a classic rookie mistake that I used to make in my younger days. The quality of the smoke is seriously jeopordized if you don't break a nug apart.

depending on the bong... a bit of nug under some grinded weed to prevent it from falling into the water is key

^yeah. you want to smoke that weed into ash, not char it into lumps of mini coal. i hate when that happens.

ground for everything but joints and blunts. those i do by hand.

well back in the 70s we would rub our weed on a kitchen sieve.it was fine to do that back in the day but it does burn faster than placing a chunk of a bud in it,to each his own though

some nugs i would just plop in untouched. if it was in a good filtering bong and good bud with alot of crystals and stuff that could fall off then I would just plop it in the bong.

other than that just break it up. A bong or joint with shitty weed though I would just grind it up.

All personal preference.

it's so hard to roll when it's ground.. blunts, it doesn't much matter so long as you're working with a sufficient amount of weed.. blunts pretty much roll themselves.

it definitely needs to be ground up so it smokes nice and even and you don't get that burning charcoal thing going on

but nothing wrong with dumping a nug down before you throw you ground up weed if you don't have a screen

I think a nice mixture between the two is the best. When it is all grinded it burns way too fast, and sometimes when their are big nugs it clogs. I like to put a nice nug at the bottom of the bowl then sprinkle the rest of the weed on top of it.

I avoid stems at all cost. I would never just smoke a whole bud, except for Being's case. Although I'd still break off any stem I could.

its way easier to get a good bong hit with ground weed. Otherwise, you might end up collapsing a lung damn near

use a screen and and grind it up to dust. you'll get a chamber full of milky white smoke that will hit you hard and you don't have to waste time trying to smoke a nug, just take a single hit and you're good to go
